It turned out that once meeting Ramtin and narrowing down my selection to the 2010 corolla. The price was right and the deals from Toyota were amazing. I enjoyed my time at the dealership and it was actually a short experience. I recommend 355 Toyota for any one who wants a new Toyota! More
Went to 355 Toyota to buy a new car and Joseph one of the maaagers sent me to salesman Hassan to help me. Josehp was very nice and noticed I was walking around and asked if a salesman had came by or not. H maaagers sent me to salesman Hassan to help me. Josehp was very nice and noticed I was walking around and asked if a salesman had came by or not. Hassan was very nice, calm and patient. However, the managment was very hard nose and refuse to budge the Internet price. Also, the dealer did not want to put in writing the Price, Terms and agreement until you are ready to buy. Everything is verbal until you step into the business office and buy the car. Management likes to tell you that you got the best price and can't go lower. The big guy general manager Mike was really hard nose and wouldn't budge on the price and swears you got the bet price. He doesn't want to negotiate at all. Unknown to him, I came to 355 Toyota first and then went to another dealiership who beat their price by several hundred dollars and I was just testing big guy Mike to see if he would come even near the other dealer's price and they would not. Mike likes to play his cards close to his chest and so do I. Mike got kind of offended when I try to get him to bet the other dealers price and he told me I was not serious and wished me a good day. Skip to dealership and negotiate with another dealersip. You will get to the bottom price a lot sooner. Time is money. More
Perfect Service every time! I average about 5 visits a year for a total of 20 visits so far and I can honestly say that every time has been a perfect 10! Even though the sevice department has a high volume of customers at any given time they always make me feel like I am the priority. Scott the Director of Sevice runs a professional and efficient service team. Check in with David k.is always quick and the mechanics are relable and pricing is very competitve. More
I am writing to discuss the service experience that I have recently had with 355 Toyota at 15625 Frederick Road Rockville, MD 20855. I am appalled at the way I have been treated. Last night when I purcha have recently had with 355 Toyota at 15625 Frederick Road Rockville, MD 20855. I am appalled at the way I have been treated. Last night when I purchased my vehicle, I couldn’t have been happier. This was my very first vehicle purchase on my own. Today when I arrived at work and everyone was admiring it, we all noticed that what looked like dirt from the downpour we had last night, was actually a series of scratches on my rear bumper, and a few on my trunk. The ones on the bumper actually have some raised paint on them. When I called the sales person (Emerson Chavez) today, he told me that the car was sold “as is” if it was an internet car. I didn’t purchase the car from the internet, I purchased at the dealership. Additionally this information was not disclosed to me at the time of sell. I think it is very deceptive just to get a car sold. He told me that I could speak with his sales manager. It’s ironic to me that right after I spoke with Mr. Chavez, I noticed that the ad for my particular car was pulled from the internet, as the ad stated that the condition of the exterior was in excellent condition. Additionally, this was not in the CAR report I read. I called back later and spoke with PJ Mehta, the sales manager. The only thing that he stated that he could do for me would be to have me drive back to the dealership and they could fix it for a reduced fee. I think it is completely disrespectful to assume that I would come back to a place, and pay more money, when that same place has already gotten over on me. He stated that if I wanted to have that fixed, I would have needed to have that negotiated before the purchase. Additionally, he stated that there were over 300 cars on the lot, so they don’t notice every little scratch. This is not a little scratch that I am talking about. If anyone were to see it, they would be just as upset as I was. I did what the sales manager asked and sent pictures for him to get a quote, and to no surprise, there has been no response. I understand the business end of this, but I traveled from an hour and a half away to make sure that I was able to make the appointment. The appointment was at 6:30 p.m. by the time I was actually able to go out and look at the car it was actually later than that. Furthermore, it was pouring down rain and the car was almost on empty so, my test drive had to be cut short. To add to the bad part about the gas, I purchased the car and asked for a fill-up and was told they would put gas in the car, they put in less than a quarter of a tank, so I got my first taste of the expenses... ADD $50 to purchase price. I have just spent a semester studying the Total Quality Management and Toyota Production System for my Master’s degree. I have to say that this treatment is completely opposite from what I studied. At this point, I am frustrated, but more angry that not even a day after I make my very first purchase of a car, the joy is stolen, and ruined. I have saved money for over 4 years, and all that is gone to waste. At this point, I am disappointed in Toyota, at least the sales department. Additionally, I feel like I wouldn’t trust Toyota Corp or 355 Toyota any more. I feel like the sales people were dishonest only because I wasn’t purchasing a brand new Toyota. I hate to write-off a company for something like this that doesn’t have to do with everyone, but it’s hard not to. Purchasing a car is not like purchasing an outfit and to someone like me, it was my very first experience with it. I am unhappy to say, Toyota ruined it for me. I am only 25 years old, and I am at the beginning of my car buying career. I will not deal with Toyota, DARCARS or 355 Toyota. THIS PLACE IS DOING ONE OF TWO THINGS.... ALLOWING THE EMPLOYEES TO DRIVE AROUND THE USED CARS OR RENTING THEM OUT TO MAKE MONEY OFF THEM. THIS IS APPARENT BECAUSE OF THE DISCREPANCY IN THE MILEAGE WHEN THE CAR GOES TO 355 TOYOTA AND WHEN IT LEAVES THERE. WHEN SOMETHING HAPPENS TO THEM, THEY ARE NOT REPORTING THEM TO DRIVE UP THE PRICE OF THE CAR. Review of problems: 1. Car had 3,000 more miles than listed on the internet. 2. Was not able to meet with person I had scheduled appointment with. 3. Salesperson had no interest in showing me the car. 4. Empty gas tank for test drive and less than quarter of a tank when I drove off the lot. 5. Deception about scratches on trunk, side, and rear bumper by everyone involved in the transaction. 6. No response when I sent in the pictures of the scratches. 7. Inconsistent information in Car information. 8. Shadiness during the transaction. 9. No even an apology and no remorse whatsoever. 10. Money first, customer service second. NEVER AGAIN WITH THIS PLACE! More

I purchased a 2007 Toyota RAV4 with a few blemishes that needed to be repaired. There was a mark on the front bumper, a rust spot on the rear passenger door, a mark on the passenger door, and the front das needed to be repaired. There was a mark on the front bumper, a rust spot on the rear passenger door, a mark on the passenger door, and the front dash was scratched. I took it in on a Tuesday and was told it would take 2-3 days to repair. I called on the following Thursday and told it would be ready the following day, Friday. On Friday I call and asked when I would be able to pick up the vehicle. I was then told that a part they needed, one that they broke in the process of repairing the vehicle, was backordered and that they would not be able to get the part until Monday. There goes the 2-3 days for the repair. WELL, today, Monday, i'm told that I would be able to pick up the vehicle at 4PM. Low and behold, I get to the service center and find out the front dash was not repaired and told it would be done the following Wednesday. Yes I was mad. So, a 2-3 day service will end up a 8 day service. Very POOR planning on the body shop and service center. I DEFINATELY WILL NOT recommend taking your Toyota to 355 for service. They also lost a returning customer when I shop for another Toyota. More

During some routine maintenance a few weeks ago, my mechanic called me over and said "Did you know this car has been wrecked?" Um, no, I didn't. In fact, the dealer assured me that because mine was a "Certified Toyota," it could have never been in an accident, "not even a small one." A quick call to Toyota HQ revealed that to be a little bit of fiction--a certified car doesn't have to be accident-free. But the dealer still represented it as an accident-free car and showed me a clean AutoCheck report. I can't prove that they knew for a fact that the car had been in a wreck--for whatever reason, the wreck was never reported. However, the car had been repossessed. I don't really believe that the previous owner had the cash to pay for major front-end collision repairs out of pocket, and then just defaulted on her loan. I think Toyota repossessed the wrecked car, had their own mechanics fix it up "off the record," and then resold it as an accident-free car. The car now needs about $1300 worth of work to fix a shoddy paint job from the collision repair. I plan to approach the dealership with this information, but don't expect much... More
Bought a new truck. Sold me a DARCARS service package for $700+ which included free washings and oil changes for the life of the car. I was reluctant, but they guaranteed me spectacular service. I for $700+ which included free washings and oil changes for the life of the car. I was reluctant, but they guaranteed me spectacular service. I brought my truck in for the very first washing and initial clear coat. My wife and I were both a little late for work as she drove me and my two infant girls to 355 Toyota. They kept the truck all day. At the end of the day, I called them and the service manager told me it was ready. Again, we both drove all the way to the dealership with the babies. I showed up and they went to get my truck. They drove it to me. I look at it. Nothing was done. No clear coat. No oil change. Nothing at all. It just sat parked all day. I demanded my $700 back. They refused. I'll never deal with 355 Toyota again. More
I had some body work done on my 4-runner from their "competent" body shop and believe me when I tell you I regret it so much. I had the whole front end repaired, yet the job could have been a lot bette "competent" body shop and believe me when I tell you I regret it so much. I had the whole front end repaired, yet the job could have been a lot better. I bought my truck from Darcars 355 and I naturally for the first few years was a very loyal customer. The body shop reps really did a diservice for 355 in my opinion. I was offered a full detail job on my car because of paint that ended up in the interior. They destroyed the passenger side wood panel and had the nerve to say it was already like that. That would be fine had it been true. I then took my truck to 355 toyota for the detail offer and when I picked it up there was this brown sticky film on several areas on my truck. I spoke with someone in charge and was informed that was discoloration and must have been there before detail. Funny thing was we did a walk around before and no mention of it. I asked him to get it off he said it was permanent. So I went down the street and bought a cleaner wax and after several minutes of rubbing and buffing discoloration was gone. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had and I have since started using Fitsgerald toyota. They have been a godsend and best of all they accept my darcars package. Now I am in the market for a new truck...Fitsgerald will definitely get my new purchase. Unfortunately for 355 I happen to work in a great company that has an extreme pull on word of mouth comments. I have got 3 co-workers that no longer use 355 and I am looking for more! More
