What the service adviser needs to remember is that most of us who service our cars at the dealership are not mechanics, so, if we have questions, they should answer them instead of being defensive and providing emotional responses! In the end, her explanation was satisfactory and I did not dispute the charges. All I needed were my questions answered! I am suggesting additional training for the employees so that they know how to provide clear, concise, unemotional, and tactful responses to the customers. I also don't like that the service advisers reach out to us asking for no less than a 5-star rating. If we are unsatisfied with the service we were provided, I don't think they should ask us, after the fact, if there's anything they can do to fix it. More
Thank you Liz for the awesome service I've been leery having my car serviced by dealerships as I've had horrible service at Kailua Ford....8 hrs to replace a battery?! I had my invoice reviewed by another mechanic, I was pleasantly surprised! He confirmed that I was not overcharged for parts, labor comparable. Some items were actually cheaper than going to an auto shop. Thanks again Liz!!!! More

Worst Experience EVER Disclaimer: I would not recommend a for fusion to start with. Our car has had problems since day one. If we were the first owners I would have trad Disclaimer: I would not recommend a for fusion to start with. Our car has had problems since day one. If we were the first owners I would have traded it in under lemon law a long time ago, HOWEVER, since there was still had a factory warranty on the car (>60,000miles) I decided to stick with it. LONG (a few months long) story short we took our car into this dealership in the first week of August 2019, and they told me I was going to get a new engine due to the fact that a few things in the engine were broken including the top half the engine block. This was not only a lie, a they were not authorized to give me this information due to the fact that they did not request permission for a new engine from corporate. They initially told us it would be from 10 days-3 weeks max depending on how long the parts took to get there. They only called us every 2 weeks if we were lucky. about a month and half in they call us and tell us they are waiting o on a cam shaft to arrive. This threw up some red flags so we questioned it and never got a response. A total of THREE months later we decided to call cooperate and explain the situation. Only after calling cooperate did the dealership called us back saying that they had REBUILT our engine and that it has been done for a while, despite our constant attempts at calling to inquire about our car. Though we were angry about the lie because big cooperation's NEVER properly rebuild engines we just accepted it as long as the car was finally fixed. This however was not the case, when I went to pick up the car the dealership could not find my paperwork, they had to reprint it off from the system because it was "misplaced". I also inquired about what type of warranty we would receive (to guarantee the work considering everything we and the car have been through and I only received a condensing answer "if i knew when cars would break I would not be working here, i would be a millionaire somewhere else". My question was regarding if we drove it off the lot and 6 months later something broke on the car (INVOLVING THE WHAT THEY "FIXED") would we be covered. This was a joke, it didn't even take 10 miles for the wrench light to pop up and the car to start behaving like it did when we FIRST took it in. At approximately 20 miles in the check engine light popped up. We did not drive the car more than 40 miles (due to work, home, dealership distance) 3-5 days later we took the car back into the dealership. Upon calling the dealership they told us that we could take it in for an a diagnostic test "free of charge" as if they were doing us a favor...like they had a choice........a few days later they called us informing us that they found 2 sensors that were bad. The car is STILL in the shop, going on another two weeks. I would NOT suggest using this dealership due to the following reasons: Lack of communication In accurate information Inexperienced or unqualified mechanics/"journey men" Mediocre customer service If you need the whole story of everything that happened feel free to leave questions and I can give you the case info from my cooperate claim.
