I first went to Lex Brodies to see if they could plug the hole. Lex Brodies said because of the location of the tire they couldn't plug the hole and that I needed a new tire. I took a chance and went to the dealership (it was Saturday afternoon). I told the dealership that Lex Brodies said the tire cant be plugged (because the nail is too close to the outside edge) and that I needed a new tire. The dealership offered to change the tire to a different brand (same type not in stock). I told them that I wanted the same brand (the car is only 1 yr old). The dealership ordered the tire, plugged the hole and said just watch the tire pressure. I drove off and noticed that the tire low pressure light was still illuminated. I drove back to the dealership and the person I spoke to said that it was normal and that it would go away after a few miles. So off I drove again, the light still remained on. After 30 minutes in traffic (the second time), I decided to return to the dealership (for the third time). I told the service person that maybe they plugged it and forgot to put air in. He drove the car in the back and came back about 5 min later. He said that they forgot to put air in the tire. As I drove off the light went away. Doesn't instill much confidence around the table. A Complete Let Down As well all know going to a car dealership can be a long drawn out experience. You drive several cars and fall n love with one car. Next thing you kno As well all know going to a car dealership can be a long drawn out experience. You drive several cars and fall n love with one car. Next thing you know after waiting around for hours they tell you that you cannot have it so you settle just so you can leave with something. Well this happened to me but worse. I drove several cars and was told no they were out of our price range. So I settled for a used Fusion. Not a bad car all in all. We left our Honda there and drove home with this car. The financing had not been approved and they still let us go home with this car. The entire purpose of going there was that I needed a car that was an automatic. We ad this vehicle for almost a month. I gave them $1200.00 down and they even cashed it. At the end of the month here I am all excited and in love with this car. I get a call saying I have to return the car because they could not get me financed. I was so mad I cried. I took them their car back and got mine. I asked when I was getting my money back and they said "It can take up to 5 business days". First they get me excited for a car, then I go home with it, then I have to return it and last wait for my cash. Really? To me this is some dirty business. I found it cruel and wrong. I went to a bigger and better dealership a week later and left with a brand new car. No hassle no problems. They did not let me take a car home, I waited for less than 24 hours and got a loan. I am paying less than half then what Cutter was saying and on a brand new car not a used one. I suggest if you do not have perfect credit go somewhere else. More
What a great experience I had at Cutter Ford today. Customer Service has dramatically improved since my last service about a year ago. Representative Nicole phoned me periodically through the day to update me on the progress of my vehicle, one time just to tell me my truck is still being worked on and would call back later. That is important to a customer and I felt my truck was in good hands. To wrap up my experience, I arrived to pick up my truck only to find out that I was charged a reasonable amount for the work I had done. Tell your staff Mahalo for taking care of customers, that's what keeps us coming back. More
