I am brand new to the island; I am moving here to become a teacher. My family and I came to Cutter with no prior knowledge of Cutter Dodge of Pearl City, we just knew we needed to purchase a car at a great rate. After meeting with Kobe, Joshua, and Drevis, all of whom were extremely respectful, kind, and helpful, we were able to close on a beautiful new car that will support my endeavors during my time on the island. I bought my car on June 7th; this was my second day on the island. The team at Cutter made me feel at home, and Kobe even provided many local food spots for me to check out in my island experience. To all of the Cutter team at Pearl City, THANK YOU! Your hard work never goes unnoticed, and I am so happy to be a part of the Cutter Ohana. More

Stay away I DO NOT suggest using this dealership for sales or service. I should have read the reviews here before trusting them with the care of my van. I have I DO NOT suggest using this dealership for sales or service. I should have read the reviews here before trusting them with the care of my van. I have been a customer of Dodge Cutter of Pearl City for a little over a year after we moved to the area. This customer service has absolutely no communication with each other.... one will say one thing and then another will say otherwise. For example, after a transmission fluid flush, they found a leak of transmission fluids with the following oil change, I was told this was covered under my warrenty (only after asking, they didnt even think to look it up) but that my warrenty was ending the next day and they had no time to fix today... understandable, so they told me come in today and they would leave the file "open" so they could fix it and it still be under warrenty since they had no openings that day. I show up today... they didnt even put me on the schedule, no one was aware I was coming and NO ONE knew about the "promise" that was made to me on coming in today and fixing it under warrenty. Every oil change comes another "new" problem found with this vehicle.... Either this 4 YEAR OLD vehicle made by dodge is horribly made and I dont recommend anyone buying one... or the service here is dishonest. My visits to this place since moving here have lead to disaster, more money, additional complications and no resolve. They only want your cash, they don’t care on how this car is your livelihood getting to and from work and supporting your family. More
Apprehensive from reviews but had a good buying experience The reviews I read had me shying away from this place, but an inventory search showed that they were the only dealer on island that had the car I want The reviews I read had me shying away from this place, but an inventory search showed that they were the only dealer on island that had the car I wanted, so I decided to give them a shot. I'm glad I did, I found their first offer unreasonable, but they adjusted quickly and I ended up getting a really good deal on a new Dodge Charger. Like most people, I don't look forward to buying a new car because it's a very taxing experience. This rates among the better experiences I've had at a dealership (not the best but good). Our salesman, Mike, was very courteous and listened/understood what I wanted. More

What is the point of an appointment? (that i waited all xxxx month for!). Very poor service I wouldnt reccomend. More
Rude beyond measure I made the mistake of looking for a new Ram Promaster at Cutter in Pearl City. I own a large business and buy at least one commercial vehicle a year. I made the mistake of looking for a new Ram Promaster at Cutter in Pearl City. I own a large business and buy at least one commercial vehicle a year. I had done my homework and made a firm offer of the truck I wanted to buy. My sales person was very courteous, at least initially until the car dealer games started. I arrived at 9:30am and didn't leave until well after 1 pm. I had called before I arrived inquiring about the financing rate and was assured it would be under 3%. When I was finally confronted by Dean Manning, the finance manager I was treated like dirt. I have never been so disrespected by a so called professional in my life. I kept asking about the rate and he brushed me off telling me we will get to that later, pushing me to sign all the forms without giving me the opportunity to read them. When I came to the finance forms he had typed in 6.9%, when I queried the rate he called me a liar to my face and became quite belligerent. At which time I was losing it and told the sales manager to give me back my trade in keys and I was out of there. Eventually Manning came back and told me he would give me 2.9% this once. I wish I could persuade all of you reading this to never go near this place, there are plenty of other dealers out there who will treat you as a human with dignity and respect. I will never go near the place again for any reason. More
Gang leaders as salesman Came in about a week ago and am greeted by a young man, tattoos all over. I told him I wanted to look at the Jeep Cherokee Latitude and he said he was Came in about a week ago and am greeted by a young man, tattoos all over. I told him I wanted to look at the Jeep Cherokee Latitude and he said he was new and they didn't run on certain days. I asked if there was a more qualified salesman, to which he stated he was the most talented man he'd even meet and can close anything, even my private parts. I stormed out. He followed behind me apologizing he'd had a fight with the wife. I said I'd come back later and am looking for something on nav when I hear him yelling to his wife I guess "but babe I won't get in trouble I shouldn't have lied to you but I did want to be a Ranger. No one needs to know I never was. I'm a felon that's the only thing I can tell people that I did goood"Please have someone contact me asap More
Double check all your numbers before signing These guys like to lose keys when they do trade in appraisals so always bring a spare set. These guys also like to pack deals so double check your These guys like to lose keys when they do trade in appraisals so always bring a spare set. These guys also like to pack deals so double check your paperwork before signing, especially when they try to add an unwanted and worthless extended warranty. Get your own financing before arriving there. Do not tell them how you are gonna pay for the car when negotiating. If they know you are going to pay cash or finance from an outside lender, they will jack the price up. Do not buy any extras from them and for the love of god, do not pay their dealer markup. Maybe you would be better off waiting a couple of extra weeks and buy from a mainland dealer and saving some money. Don't let them lie to you and say that your warranty will not be valid or some other bs. More
Terrible dealership in every way possible. I do not recommend this dealership. I went to get the trade in price for our jeep to start the process of finding a new vehicle to purchase. It took m I do not recommend this dealership. I went to get the trade in price for our jeep to start the process of finding a new vehicle to purchase. It took me an hour and a half of getting the run around and being told by 3 different employees that I should have my husband come by to "start going over numbers." I literally came in to "crunch numbers' and get our vehicle's specific trade in value and have it appraised. I think I repeated the phrase "I don't need my husband here to discuss numbers" 15+ times. I work, have my own income, and am a college educated, competent adult. I don't need my husband's guidance to get quoted the trade in price for our vehicle. I am of the assumption that they were pushing me to have my husband meet us to discuss numbers to get him there in person, starry eyed, and in the "get us in a jeep today!" mode. However, we purchased a vehicle with them just last year, and went together with our children in tow. Having us all there together to go over numbers was a very big distraction, and ultimately resulted in us not getting the best deal possible through their dealership. That was our mistake. Shame on us for letting them pressure and rush us. I assumed me going in alone today to get a quote on a trade in appraisal would be more efficient. However, it resulted in me having to walk into a 1950's world where I have to explain to their employees that I do not need my husband with me to discuss numbers and that I am an able minded adult. Oh, and by the way, after an hour and a half of useless back and forth, they told me that the most the they would offer me was $2,000 for my 2008 jeep grand cherokee that is in fantastic condition. It has a kelly blue book trade in value of $7200-$8600. I understand that car dealerships have planned, deliberate sales pitches to make the most on a sale that they can. It's business. I understand that. But this dealership plays way too many games when it comes to negotiation, and I don't appreciate it. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. We will not make the mistake of going to this dealership for a third time. I am sure of that. In regards to their service department, one of our vehicles had a manufacturer recall on it. We had previous issues with making appointments with their service department. Previously, we made an appointment to bring our car in to have something fixed that was covered under warranty that was scheduled 2 months out past when we called to set it up. They said they were very busy and booked, and would need time to order the parts. When the time came to bring it it, they asked us what we were there for today and completed failed us. We waited two months for nothing. So we didn't go into working with their service department again with the highest expectations of their customer service. But back to the most recent services issue- when we took our Jeep in to have a recall issue corrected, one of the services customer service agents, named Brenda, told us that they weren't going to fix the recall issue unless our car was showing signs of having problems with it. After having a vigorous back and forth argument with her about how the point of recalls is to have them fixed regardless because other vehicles are showing that there is an issue with them, she tried telling us that we would have to pay to have it fixed. She tried to charge us to have a recall issue fixed! We eventually got in contact with one of their managers, named Jesse, to have the issue resolved. Once he became involved, the process became more smooth. However, the services department somehow failed to order another one of our parts and we had to have our car there for 2 weeks, rather than the 2 days that it should have been there to be worked on. Jesse was kind enough to give us a rental car. However, the bigger issue is that this dealership's employees do not know how to follow the rules, schedule properly, or how to work kindly with their customers. More
