After 10 years of loyalty I've given up on this dealership only because of the service of the service dept.'s declining performance and what I perceive as a policy of getting you to pay for things dealership only because of the service of the service dept.'s declining performance and what I perceive as a policy of getting you to pay for things you may not need or not need as soon as they say you need them. Feb 28 2024 I went in for an oil change and inspection. Asked them to check on a heat shield rattle and a rear end noise. The advisor came back and told me the tech found a laundry list of what I needed. Total Cost a whopping $2,617.14! I told my advisor I declined those 2 and I authorized the rest. Then my advisor comes back and tells me he he may be able to get me the rear wheel work done at no cost, customer loyalty program benefit, but I'd have to get the plugs done. Sounded good right? I get a $1200+ job done for free if I spend $500 for the plugs, I save $700. So I went for it. Now the bad news. The rear end noise they told me the wheel bearing replacement would fix did absolutely nothing. The noise persisted unabated. Then I brought it back . I get a call telling me it was the muffler. So they replaced that. Noise is still 85% there! The reality is that this problem is clearly out of the scope of the expertise of the current service department staff to diagnose and fix. However, after this last fiasco, my confidence and trust in the service department has eroded to the point of no return, and after being a loyal customer for about a decade. More

I made it very clear to them that they needed to review their selling policy. I’m glad I shipped around and got Curry Subaru. Besides they came highly recommended by Brunilda Santiago and Lou Cassio who also purchased a brand new forester the week before. Kudos to Emilio, Juan, Jake and all of the employees who were very welcoming. More
