CVT transmission covered out of warranty I bought a 2013 Rogue used from this dealership and opted not to buy the extended warranty. When my CVT transmission failed at 87800 miles, I was info I bought a 2013 Rogue used from this dealership and opted not to buy the extended warranty. When my CVT transmission failed at 87800 miles, I was informed that it was out of warranty and not covered by the warranty that was extended by Nissan to cover 2003-2010. I went through the “customer affairs” process through the Nissan corporation and was told that they had “met all their responsibilities.” The $5100 bill was all up to me. After researching and finding out that the issues with CVT transmissions were a common issue, I posted negative reviews here and at BBB.org. Now they are covering 70% of the repairs. I am satisfied. More
