2018 Honda Ridgeline Tailgate does not lock I recently purchased a 2018 Honda Ridgeline and discovered several months after purchase that the two-way tailgate does not lock and the truck was mad I recently purchased a 2018 Honda Ridgeline and discovered several months after purchase that the two-way tailgate does not lock and the truck was made that way. Even Curry Honda did not know this. American Honda HQ tells me this was a business decision and there is nothing they will do about this. I would never have purchased this truck if I had known this. Other than this disaster, I am very satisfied with the truck. However, my wife and I retired and we bought this truck to travel around the country. Now we find our luggage is not safe since we cannot lock the tailgate. Please let potential customers know this. Curry Honda is a great place to do business with super service, etc. but they should not sell another Honda Ridgeline without telling the buyer the 2 way tailgate does not have a lock.
