VERY POOR COMMUNICATION FROM THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT - car is being held hostage without my consent!!? I am so mad at Curry Honda Georgia and the service advisor Cedric Little . Dropped my car off at 12:30 is being held hostage without my consent!!? I am so mad at Curry Honda Georgia and the service advisor Cedric Little . Dropped my car off at 12:30PM for an appointment for routine maintenance items. I authorized roughly $350 of maintenance (oil change, transmission fluid flush, window wiper pad change, wheel balancing). They also needed to look at my key as it seemed to be broken. I was supposed to get my car back same day. Called at 4:40 PM to check in as they close at 5 PM and they said I would be called back. I had gone home in an Uber so I was waiting. At 5:20PM I get an email with additional estimate for $1300 worth of fixes and a text message that my car would have to stay until Monday 😡 no call. Just a text and an email. They were already closed! I couldn't talk to anybody about the estimate and I sure as heck couldn't get my car back!! Nobody left in the service department to talk to! My car is now stranded in an unauthorized sleepover at the car dealership and being held hostage without my consent. This could have been handled so much better with my consent and we could have arranged a rental car if they had only called me back! Poor communication. And I'm fairly certain they didn't even inspect my car until I called to hassle them. How else do you explain the super tardy estimate found for issues noted during the multipoint inspection? What is the point of an appointment time for routine maintenance if they cannot get it done the same day? I can't even talk to management about this poor service until Monday because they're closed and were already closed when all this garbage and hassle happened. More
