We strive to try and make our customers happy and sometimes things don’t go the way we would like. We apologize if you feel our price was excessive or if we didn’t take the time to explain the differences in the repairs. There were several substantial differences with the two repairs that caused such a gap in price. The repair we were to do was to remove the seats, carpet and padding, disassemble the wet seat belts and dry out any of the electrical connections which over time may cause corrosion causing lights to come on inside the dashboard. We were also to air dry then shampoo and deodorize the carpet and padding to remove any mold and or odor. The repair that was completed took out the seats and carpet and threw away the underneath padding without addressing the seatbelts or putting a pad back in place. We do not believe that this was in the best interest of the customer or the car because the padding will cut down on improper wear of the rug, reduces cabin noise and also acts as an insulation to help regulate the temperature of the cabin as well. After reading about the experience we offered to reimburse the client for their detail and dry out the seat belt connectors free of charge but they respectfully declined, which is their right. We are a 16 time President’s award winner, we try hard to get it right each and every time and we apologize if in your opinion we fell short of that in this instance.
