Brought the car in for a NYS inspection and oil change today and thought I might need brakes. Daniel, my service advisor told me the brakes were fine and showed me the checkpoint report they run every time you bring your car in for service. Trusting that they won't try to fix something that ain't broke is another reason why they are my dealership. The waiting room was packed today but the coffee was fresh and the snacks were waiting. Every person I encountered today was friendly, respectful and helpful. Guess that is why they have so many Honda Service Awards... those commercials are true. Curry is simply the best! More

The work was done in minimal time ( as we were waiting for the car). They checked it all out and washed it which was a nice bonus. We also had them rotate and balance the tires and check out the brakes. ( which were fine) Our service advisor, Steve Absolu was especially helpful This dealership is the best! More
Bad service Like many owners, I know nothing about mechanics, so, when I discovered the floorboards on my Honda Civic were completely soaked through, I thought it Like many owners, I know nothing about mechanics, so, when I discovered the floorboards on my Honda Civic were completely soaked through, I thought it must have happened when I left the window cracked during a rainstorm while I ran out for a few minutes. I was on a long trip and had stopped in at a garage the night before I left because my car had made a horrible shrieking sound when I made a sharp right into a driveway. My husband had been hearing noises from the front of the car for awhile but I hadn't heard them until after the shriek. I thought I had better see what was wrong before I started my trip, so I pulled into a garage as they were closing and they were kind enough to drive it and see what they thought. The mechanic said it sounded like an AC belt and that the noise went away if you turned the AC off. It didn't sound like anything I had to worry about, so started my trip the next day. The AC worked the entire trip and I didn't discover that the floorboards were soaked for days. When I was back home, I took the car to Curry Honda and let them know about the noises I had heard and about leaving the window cracked for my dog. While I left the car with them, I went online to see what could cause your floorboards to become soaked and it turned out that AC units can easily flood your car if they become clogged. This seemed like a much more reasonable explanation to me for the unbelievably wet state of my car. the next morning I called Curry Honda to see what they had found and whether they could get my car dry. They said they could dry it out and disinfect it for $1,200+ . I did not want to spend all that money getting the car dry only to have it flood again, so I asked if they had checked the AC as I understood that they were frequently the problem. Dave, from Curry Honda, informed me that there was "no way" the AC could have been at fault and said that the AC is "outside your car.," whatever that means. So I took the car to another shop where it took them 5 minutes to discover that the AC was clogged. They fixed it and got as much water out as they could and they did not charge me. They said that, when the AC got clogged, it would have dumped around 5 gallons into the car and that it was "scary" that Honda techs did not seem to know that. This still left me with a very wet car, so I called detailing places until I found one that seemed good. The place I found said that they run into this problem alot this time of year--pollen and dust get into the system and it floods your floor. They will do as good a job as Honda for a mere $300. I will NEVER be returning to Curry Honda! Following this experience, Curry Honda apologized for their lack of response to my concerns and offered to do whatever it took to make it right and make sure my car was in good working order. In a way, I feel partly responsible because, at the time I dropped the car off, I told them about the rainstorm and put much less emphasis on the weird noises the car had been making, so, like me, they leapt to the simple, obvious solution. They now claim that they DID check the AC unit and that it was clear. If this is true, however, it is hard to understand why they did not tell me that at the time instead of completely dismissing my concerns. The garage that actually checked the AC the morning following Honda's exam told me that they cleared the AC of five gallons of water and took pictures for my insurer. I leave it to the reader to decide what happened here. More

Horrific Service Department This dealership has the worst service department I have ever seen. I have purchased/ leased 2 Pilots from them and am looking to upgrade my 2012 Pilo This dealership has the worst service department I have ever seen. I have purchased/ leased 2 Pilots from them and am looking to upgrade my 2012 Pilot but I cant possibly think about doing so with this dealership. Why bother making an appointment when and oil change takes 2+hours? Why go there, with an appointment for a replacement key, wait 50 minutes, and then they tell you the key is not in stock? This place is a joke and it is hurting the sales department. I will buy from another Honda dealer or find another automaker (Toyota). Be very wary of the service team here. More
