Curry Honda’s service advisors were great, scheduling was easy. The service could use improvement as far as attention to detail. I am a professional automotive technician and automotive instructor, so it mig easy. The service could use improvement as far as attention to detail. I am a professional automotive technician and automotive instructor, so it might seem obvious that I’d at least take a quick look at what the tech did. I was in for warranty service, otherwise I’d be doing the work myself. I found loose clamps and wiring harness hold downs not clipped in on the air intake and the top of the intake manifold by just opening the hood in the parking lot before I left. I went inside and told the service advisor, who was very apologetic and came outside to see what was loose for himself. I get it, it’s just some clamps, but how can I trust that everything on the fuel injectors and fuel pump was done properly if the tech can’t even remember to tighten a clamp? I put my wife and kids in that vehicle every day and now I have to worry about whether or not it’s safe to drive. I’ll be going through the van to check the rest of the work here shortly because I can’t trust that it was done properly. I hope this message makes it to the right people, and that the technician can learn something from this. Loose clamps aren’t acceptable for my 15 year old students and neither should they be for dealership tech. More
