We had a Kia tr To whom it may concern, we were at your dealership on Thursday 12/29 around 6pm. We test drove and fell in love with a 2008 Accord. We had a Kia trade in and we were preapproved with our bank for $16k. When we arrived we informed Reno that we had a Kia trade in and that we were preapproved and we would like to stay around the 16K preapproved after all said and done. After our test drive Reno informed us that the price was going to be $15829, we asked multiple times does this include trading in the Kia. Yes was the answer. So we went ahead and said let's do it. All the paper work was done we signed and Rick the sales manager signed the purchase agreement #109119 for a total of $15829.69 due and informed us to take this agreement to our bank and have them send a check and deal is done. We also did other paperwork for insurance and plates transfer and a sold sign was put on the car along with our $100 deposit. Little while after we left the dealership we were called by Reno saying they made a big mistake and forgot to add the $3800 that we still owe on the Kia and wanted us to manually write in that figure and change the total due to $19500 before taking to our bank. Of course we were upset and did not like to hear that. The next day Friday 12/30 (today) we attempted to talk with Reno and explain to him that this is not fair even though we understand it was a mistake on their part they still went through the whole process and gave us a signed purchase agreement with no mention of this either in person or in writing of the amount due on the Kia trade in. Reno went on to say that it does not matter to him or to Honda Curry that we are upset or that we are going to let our friends and family know of our experience here and inform them not to do business with Honda Curry. Reno said that he is one of the top salesman their and that we won’t make no difference to him nor his job and that Honda Curry sells thousands of cars and that we can’t make no impact on that by telling our friends or family or try to go a legal route using this signed purchase agreement. Even though Reno may be right that we cannot make a difference on his job or his earnings or that of Honda Curry but they way that this was handle during the sale and post sale is very unprofessional and along with the sarcastic attitude that Reno had on the phone with both of us was unacceptable. Our friends and family have purchased many cars from Honda Curry and have always had a pleasant experience but that does not mean we won’t make sure that people know how we were treated. Again we understand that there was a mistake made and we understand the financial numbers need to work but we also feel that just because the so called number one Sales Rep Reno and Honda Curry don’t need our business because they are so successful and we may not be able to change that I can guarantee that someone we know after hearing about this well make the decision to go to other Honda dealers so even if just one or two people do that in our mind that is a successful enough. good luck to Reno and Rick and Honda Curry on a successful 2012 year. I have never bought a car with NO STRESS until I bought one with Reno. Reno was very personable, detailed, and honest. I would recommend him to everyone. After I purchased the car he kept me updated with services done to it every step of the way, including my car being detailed, Insurance going through, Inspection and plates done, and my car was ready the next day! Buying a car from Curry Honda is always an amazingly easy and satisfactory experience. Last week, we didn't have a lot of time, and Andy seemed to have done his homework so that he moved us as quickly throu and satisfactory experience. In two hours, we had a new car with the plates put on, and even got our radio stations set up for us. Andy was also extremely friendly and helpful and he clearly explained everything thoroughly. He even gave us his cell phone number if we had a problem in the middle of the night. What can I say? We could not have had a better experience anywhere. We also love the car!! It's so wonderful to drive something that you can always count on and that is so cute and efficient. I especially like the back which so easily fits our dog crates. I give Andy and Curry Honda A Plus reviews across the board for everything!! Thank you! More
