I recently purchased a 2011 MDX from Curry Acura. I started my research back in September and visited a few dealerships. I then visited Curry Acura and worked with Furman Byrd. He had all the paperwork ready and flew me through the process without a hitch. Furman then made sure I was satisfied with everything in the MDX and followed up a few times with me by phone. From the moment I walked onto Curry Acura's pre-owned lot I was greeted by kind and courteous professionalism that came in the form of jolly, happy-go-lucky middle aged man, a Mr. Jay Gold. At the time I was looking to trade in my Infiniti for an SUV.I myself am I serious car buff who has owned a half of a dozen Acura's myself. I constantly tested Jay's knowledge of these particular automobiles and the industry as a whole and coming from a car expert THIS GUY KNOWS HIS STUFF!! He was able to answer all of my questions varying from what changes were made from one model year to the next to explaining a sleuth of advantages of owning an Acura over other automobiles. Never at any point did I feel as if I was talking to a salesman or someone who was trying to push a car off on me. Jay is a down to earth, well aducated, and personable man whom is a pleasure to talk to. He even called me the following year to wish me a happy birthday! When it came time to access the trade in value for my Infiniti, Jay fought high and dry to get me the price I wanted with Curry Acura's "big wig's" and got me a price I felt I deserved for the pristine vehicle I traded in. Jay also sought after getting me a reduced price on some of the accesories I wanted with the car. He even bought me a flashlight Acura keychain as a present! I drove out of the lot in January 2010 with a 08' MDX Sport in White withe Dark Brown leather, it's the best car I've ever owned and I bought it from the best dealer/dealership I've ever dealt with. I've recommended many of my friends to Jay, and if he doesnt have what you're looking for on the lot he searches diligently to get what you want. More
