Thank you to the guys at National city Location. A special thank you to Leo John and Ernie for all the kindness going beyond what they needed to do to help me and for staying late at work to finish A special thank you to Leo John and Ernie for all the kindness going beyond what they needed to do to help me and for staying late at work to finish off the deal. Leo is amazing and I appreciated he was honest and did not chase me an around the dealership while I looked at cars. John did a amazing job with the financing even going way beyond getting every deal possible for me even a deal for being a nurse and very personable to talk to which kept my mind off it’s a lengthy process and to Ernie for just getting my phone and helping me set up on star and all that new stuff I had no idea about or how to set up even past his shift. I appreciate you all very much and it was an excellent experience. Leo definitely deserves a raise for putting up with me and for having courage to test drive with me !! Thank you again Guys ! I will come back again Loreen L More
I had a Monday morning appointment (7:00am) for an oil change and check for anything else that may be due/needed. I made the appointment a week in advance. I dropped my car off Sunday night so it would be change and check for anything else that may be due/needed. I made the appointment a week in advance. I dropped my car off Sunday night so it would be there first thing Monday morning. When I dropped my car off, the intake form asks when you would like your car back. I noted Monday afternoon. This should have been sufficient for an oil change and to diagnose or determine any other issues. I also noted that if the tab was going to be more than $300.00 to please call me. Monday morning goes by and I heard nothing. I called around 12:30 and was able to get to the service advisers voicemail. The phone system there is crazy, but I can’t even get into that now. No call back until 2:00, which unfortunately I missed. He told me to call back “if I got a chance”. What? Anyway, I called three times between 2:00 and 4:00 pm. Finally at 4:00 I was able to get a person to answer the phone and was put on a long hold for Mike Atkins. At this point he tells me they ran into two issues. One, back brakes. Two, transmission needs to be flushed. We discuss it, pricing and I decide to do the transmission and take it back in a few weeks for the brakes. I could have done both, but I needed my car back. At that point he tells me he needs it overnight. I’m stuck, what can I do? So fine. But here is the thing. I had an appointment at 7:00 am and to not get informed until 4:00pm, on a call that I had to initiate, is unacceptable. Forward to Tuesday morning. It is almost 10:00 am and i have left three messages, my boyfriend called over for me, and guess what, still no update. I'm furious. This is the third car I have taken to this dealership over the last ten years. Mike Atkins has been my service advisor all three cars, all ten years. He left me out to dry by not calling me back. He left me out to dry by not servicing my car at the 7:00 am appointment time. I guarantee he didn’t have someone even start on it until my noon call asking for an update. The last 2 years he has taken advantage of my easy going nature and he has disrespected me as a customer. It’s gotten progressively worse and this time was the straw that broke the camel’s back. Very disappointing. I will not go back. I will go to a different Chevrolet service center for the brakes and all future maintenance. Update, Tuesday, 10:05 am. After multiple calls, pressing the sales extension, i was able to talk to a human. Thank you to Freddie, who makes appointments. He was able to see that my car is done. Mike Atkins, my service advisor, did not have the decency to call and let me know. if Mike Atkins is your service advisor, prepare to be left in the dark and disprespected as a customer. More

WARNING: This is an extremely long post... but reading through it will hopefully save someone from the horrendous scam that we went through! I want to start out by saying that this review is in no way through it will hopefully save someone from the horrendous scam that we went through! I want to start out by saying that this review is in no way reflected upon the general sales manager, Mario, whom was great & I believe is honest & ethical. I truly hope he cleans up shop & fire the dishonest individuals that are damaging the reputation of his business. Unfortunately, I can't say anything good about the salesmen & finance managers we encountered at Cumming Chevrolet. We went in to buy a reliable, economical 2nd car for my husband to get to work. We were referred to Cumming Chevy by a credit agency, claiming that they would help us get a good car at a reasonable payment. The salesmen we dealt with, namely Adrian (asst sales manager) & Erick, saw our misfortune as an opportunity for their own financial gain. Adrian was clearly the mastermind & is an extremely arrogant, rude, dishonest, unethical, shady individual & need to be fired ASAP. Of course, the finance manager, who's name I did not get (Maybe Joe), was in on it too. The "deal" we were given was SO BAD that when the GSM (Mario) found out, he allowed us to unwind the deal & bring the car back & was extremely apologetic, agreeing that his people scammed us in a major way & that ALL the men involved would be dealt with very harshly... hopefully that meant being fired. We were sold a $6000 car... a 2011 Malibu with 93000 miles... We left with a $16,000 loan on that $6000 car. Our credit isn't great, but it certainly isn't bad enough for $10,000 worth of interest on a $6000 car! We waited over 4 hours for them to "work out the deal" because as Adrian said, our credit was so bad, this is the kind of deal we would get anywhere (not true, we did get a much better, nicer, newer car elsewhere at a much better deal)... we had our 10 month old baby with us, so you can imagine his restlessness after 4 hours! By the time they were ready for us to sign the papers, we were beyond ready to get out of there. Admittedly, that's where our only fault comes in, we naively trusted that these individuals were giving us a good deal & did not ask questions or really read the paperwork. LESSON LEARNED THE HARD WAY FOR US, READ ANYTHING & EVERYTHING YOU SIGN & ASK QUESTIONS! At home, we looked over the paperwork... what's this extra nearly $4000 charge under optional additions?! The charge was written in only as "First extended". We found out this was an optional extended warranty, which we did not agree to & was never mentioned to us AT ALL! Upon further research, I found that this is a known dealership scam... they add in hidden additional options & "pad" the deal by extending the terms so that the consumer doesn't notice the charges. This gets them an extra commission... screwing over the consumer for their own financial gain. But $4000 warranty for a $6000 car?? I called an auto fraud attorney confirmed that this was a fraudulent scam. The attorney instructed me to call the dealership & advise them to cancel the warranty & remove it from the contract. I called Adrian & told him to remove the charge from our contract. He said he didn't know if it could be removed & he would talk to finance & call back. I advised of my contact with an attorney & told him that this CAN be cancelled & that he WILL remove it from the contract! He called me back 2 minutes after hanging up & said "you can just bring the car back!" Perfect! Not long after, I received another call from Mario wanting to know what was going on. Apparently he caught wind of it somehow (THANK GOD!) & wanted the details so he could take proper action. I'm glad that God was able to use us to uncover this scam & hopefully prevent anyone else from falling victim to the same. I wonder how many others Adrian has done this to & I hope the dealership will pull his other recent contracts to ensure there are no other victims. More
Very Disappointed I booked at 22,500 mile service for my Cruze. When I arrived the service rep thought we were there for an oil change. He had no idea what a 22,500 s I booked at 22,500 mile service for my Cruze. When I arrived the service rep thought we were there for an oil change. He had no idea what a 22,500 service entailed and I had to tell him. I also mentioned that I had coupons that had been mailed to me from the dealership which said in them to show to the service rep when leaving the car. He knew nothing about those. The whole interaction was between him and his tablet. I did not feel welcome or valued as a customer. I asked how long it would take and he went away and came back and said an hour and a half. After 2 hours, I asked the cashier how much longer it would be? You would think, that as many of these you do, you could give a more accurate estimate of the time it takes to do a service. When I picked up the car, the computer settings had been changed and where the mph was showing before there was now a timer running. I had to stop, get out the manual and figure out how to change it back to where it was. Very frustrating. Rotating the tires and checking their pressure was part of the service. I have locking air valve covers on each tire. When I got home, I noticed 2 of them were missing. I’ve now had to go out and replace the set. In addition only one of the tires had the proper pressure. The other 3, all had different tire pressures. All in all, I’m disgusted by the lack of care and attention to detail. I doubt, I’ll be using them again. More
Great Service ! Peter the Service Manager is the BEST! On Saturday June 15th I was in San Diego for business and my GMC Denali had the check engine light come on. After calls to multiple GMC and Chevrolet On Saturday June 15th I was in San Diego for business and my GMC Denali had the check engine light come on. After calls to multiple GMC and Chevrolet dealers only to be told, come in on Monday I called Cumming Chevrolet. I was greeted by a friendly voice on the phone and a genuine concern for my problem. Peter told me to bring my truck in and he would look at it and do his best to get me back on the road Saturday. I arrived there at 11:15 and was greeted promptly by Val. I told her I had spoken with Peter and she said she was expecting me. Over the next hour and a half she kept me updated on the status of my vehicle. I needed two spark plugs and plug wires. Cumming had all the parts in stock and I was on my way in two hours. Thanks to Peter and Val for helping me out. They treated me like family. I would highly recommend Cumming Chevrolet. More
Best service, lasting repairs! I've got to say, these guys have been very impressive with their service! Brought my vehicle here after an accident to get the front fender repaired, I've got to say, these guys have been very impressive with their service! Brought my vehicle here after an accident to get the front fender repaired, and immediately was greeted by an estimator, Andrew Layus. He took a few days to fully inspect my vehicle and gave me a call there after wth their findings, as well as sending me confirmation email on the issues. After my insurance company inspected the vehicle as well, they noted that there was nothing missed and how important it was that internal damages were caught instead of ignoring them and working only on external repairs(turned out after hitting a really deep pothole, more than my fender was broken: the suspension was shot and I cracked my rim) . After all had been said and done, I'm left glad I came here with their genuine service and affordable costs. Andrew even gave me a few courtesy calls weeks following to ensure the vehicle was running properly as well as gave advice on maintaining my vehicle. I would recommend them to anyone! More
