Drove over 6 hours to purchase a truck. Asked that it have the codes read to be sure there were no issues. We test drove the truck around town and ever Seamed to be fine. Once we hit I-15 and went over 60mph or so the check engine light came on. At this point we were less than 10 miles from dealership. We called them and was told that the “additional warranty on page 6 of the document package would cover this.” We traveled to Idaho falls and stopped for fuel. Called dealership again and was told same story, it’s covered by warranty. “Just take it to a dealership and then call that number”. We decided to have the ford dealership in Idaho falls look at it. Their opinion was that they cleared the codes without fixing the issue. They cleared them. Check engine light was off and as soon as we were back on highway it came on again. Called and was transferred to Mr. Peterson who was absolutely no help. He admitted that the warranty on page six only covered major repairs like the engine for example. We were able to return the truck to them and they would “look at it. But would not pay for repairs’. I sent him the codes from Ford dealership in Idaho falls. Once home we had the local Ford dealer pull codes and same thing. He told me that we were offered an insurance but declined. I took the way he said it as that they knew there was an issue and we declined their insurance so tough luck to us. Very unwilling to look at the vehicle that we strongly believe as does two different dealerships, the codes were cleared no repairs and they knew it. Mr. Peterson gave me his cell and I sent the codes and estimates to him directly with no response. I’d take your Business elsewhere. I didn’t read reviews and paid for it. They were very good to get my car right in, serviced, and ready for me to leave.
