I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO CROWN TOYOTA, NOR BUY A TOYOTA. After I took my Prius engine was running rough, they felt they had properly addressed by getting me to agreed to an overpri TOYOTA, NOR BUY A TOYOTA. After I took my Prius engine was running rough, they felt they had properly addressed by getting me to agreed to an overpriced (expected) replacement of a part. Mechanic had not been sure this was the right move, but was his best shot. I had agreed to go that route as he sincerely said if that was not the fix he would make things right. Well, within five days, the engine ran rougher and in the same way, I took it back and mechanic tried to say he had fixed problem, that now I had a new a different symptom, completely unrelated. This was a laughable conclusion. Anyway, the proposed fix now was an engine install that had over 115,000 miles on it for $6k. Please, this is how the most deceptive and bilk-driven auto shops work. THIS DEALERSHIP RUINS THE TOYOTA NAME. I've convinced many not to go here for service, nor to buy a new car, and not even to buy a Toyota again. STAND UP: DON'T BUY TOYOTA More
Today I went to Crown Toyota Dealership in Lawrence, Kansas, because the 2015 Toyota Highlander, that I had purchased from them in March 2020 was making whirring noises in the engine. After waiting over Kansas, because the 2015 Toyota Highlander, that I had purchased from them in March 2020 was making whirring noises in the engine. After waiting over two hours, the Maintenance Staff informed me that I would need to replace the engine, which was well over $5,000, or I could talk to the Sales Representatives about doing a trade-in. However, after speaking to the Sales Department, they could only find similar vehicles in the price range of $22,000. The purchase price of my highlander was over $19,000. Trading into a higher priced vehicle will increase my payment, which I cannot do. I trusted Toyota to pull through with being the best and was sadly scammed into buying a broken Highlander and now the Sales Staff is trying to sell me a more expensive vehicle! My Highlander has less than 100,000 miles on it and is only five years old! It should not be having any major mechanical issues, such as engine problems. The Crown Dealership even had me sign paperwork saying that the vehicle was mechanically sound and checked by their Maintenance Staff, which included the engine. I was told by the Maintenance Staff that the issue with the engine “could not have been for-seen.” I have already paid over $3,500, including a $1,000 down payment on the Highlander, and yet the best they could do was replace my engine for over $5,000 or trade me in for a more expensive vehicle? I feel that Toyota is not standing up to their name, which is to be the best long lasting vehicles around. More

Arrive on time and it's 1.5 hours to get even a simple oil change done. At 3,500 miles we hit a deer. 6 weeks before we could get it in. 3 more weeks to fix. Came to pick it up and the paint was way off. Another week. Picked it up and the windshield wipers didn't work. Collision department wouldn't fix it because they claimed it wasn't result of an accident. Never mind they worked when we drove it in. Never mind it's still under warranty - only 3,500 miles on the car. Collision department and service department spend 2 hours blaming each other while my wife sits and waits. I finally had to call and raise xxxx so they would quit squabbling between departments and fix it. Appeared for a 10:30 appointment to change oil at 10:20. By 11:05 they hadn't even moved the car. Too bad, so sad was the attitude. Service manager calls after I call and complain and launches into a complaint that she can't find lube bay techs to hire. This is my problem how? I suggest she not take appointments she can't service, More

Crown Toyota is the real deal! Justin Holshof not only worked extremely hard to make the deal happen, but did it almost entirely through email which is extremely rare in today's modern age. He went to any length necessary to make sure we were completely satisfied, and even took care of most of the paperwork so that once we got there we were in and out in all of 40 minutes. Incredible! I'd also like to mention that their finance person, Dave Gero, was the most professional finance person I have ever worked with. He was not high pressure, understood that we may not want everything he had to offer, and didn't push it when we declined. He had everything ready when we came in, wasted absolutely no time, and made sure we understood everything completely before signing away. In today's competitive age, Crown Toyota really understands how to make the customer buying experience as easy-going and pleasant as it could possibly be. We couldn't be happier! More
