I came to Crown Kia for a service appointment on my Kia Optima. I have to say it was an overall great experience, which is just not common these days. I've had many negative experiences with previous manufacture dealerships of cars that I have owned. I specifically dealt with Sherry and Matt for this particular appointment. The service center I had been using for years had suddenly closed, and Crown Kia "adopted" me as though I had been coming in for years. I dropped off my Suzuki on 24 Jul for an oil change and trouble shooting of non-working A/C. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The technician found the A/C issue and fixed it without a problem. Matthew Maynard was my service advisor, and my great need was for some help on fullyh understanding all the features that the Kia Soul has to offer, such as the UVO and the entire infotainment set-up. The dealership experiences I have had here were not of good quality compared to other competitors. I recently had an A.C. problem and took my car in on the weekend of June 29th. I was later told that they had to order a part and the part would come in a few days. The gentleman who was the service manager (Evan) which I later found out reschedule me an appointment for July 6 the following Saturday at 8 am. When I arrived at 8 am at-least 6 persons were ahead of me and some had no appointment. I waited a half hour just to get up to the desk and have the lady representative (Sherry) on duty that the guy from last week did not schedule me.I can tell you I was displeased because I already have had past experiences with this dealership services this did not make me happy or confident. She did however take my car and said that the part was there and would get it done that morning. I also have had my regular oil change awhile back and the usual inspection that comes with the package deal. The next day I went to clean my windows and no wiper fluid came out the system. I checked under the hood and saw that there was very little fluid. I refilled and tried again but the fluid system did not work. I again took my car in and found out that the motor that ejects the fluid was bad and I would have to make another appointment while the part was ordered. If they would of done the inspection that was part of the package oil change this would of been caught by the serviceman. I lost confidence that what I am paying for I am getting. They also always try to up sell me to get something else done as a service. Rather this is part of car maintenance this service center makes me wonder if I am getting ripped off. More
