First, let me start by saying that i have lived in this area for 35years and have purchased many cars in pinellas and pasco!! My sales consultant, JB Khalil deserves all the credit for my decision to purchase my third hyundai through CROWN. My previous two where purchased in pasco....however all have been serviced at CROWN. Contacted JB first thru internet sales then some phone conversations.....always professional, knowledgeable, kind and patient. The corporation of CROWN dealerships has truly found a treasure....almost unheard of in the car sales world!!!! I also want to thank the sales manager, Tim Jamil for making the impossible....POSSIBLE...always handling the situation in a kind, professional manner. From the operator who transferred my many calls during their transition to a new phone system to Danny in finance and Jodie in the business office, i encountered no one who was not pleasant and did not take the time to answer my many questions. Cliff in service as been my service advisor for the better part of eight years and has never let me down. the courtesy driver, Rick has always picked me up and brought me back on time and has quite an efficient system going with those sticky notes he uses to keep track of us all! Soooo.....shop around but end up at CROWN...Hyundai,that is!!!!! JB is the best....i am sure he will gladly tell you the story of how i first purchased a certified preowned base orange veloster and then turned around and traded for a leased silver base model with "style package" all within a week and a half!!!!!!! They were able to locate the red Sonata at another dealership and brought the car to Crown Hyundai. Not only did they locate the car with the options I was looking for, but they actually found a car that had extra options and offered it to me for the same price. JB was very friendly and willing to assist from the moment we arrived at the dealership. By giving him specifics about the type of vehicle and features/accessories we wanted in the car he was quick to moment we arrived at the dealership. He explained in detail the differences between the different models as well as a price comparison. At no time did we feel pressured or pushed towards a product we were not looking for. Once a car was selected his objective was to find what was suitable to our budget and finances for payment. We were very satisfied with the result of the financing. Once the deal was completed, he was thorough in getting us setup with the advanced features of the car, including bluetooth and Bluelink. I write this review to clarify a survey for Crown conducted by JD Powers regarding the purchase of my new Hyundai Elantra. The total score was lower than acceptable for the salesperson. The lower rating had to do with renovations at the dealership which made it difficult for the salesperson to operate efficiently and at this time the stock was low although we found a care perfect for our needs. I wish to reiterate that Derrick Davis was a wonderful salesperson, very professional and helpful and most responsible in meeting our demands. I feel that some factors were beyond his control. I would return to him again when purchasing and hope the company recognizes his potential. More
