friday i had a dead battery in my 2011 santa fe. i called AAA the driver came out but did not have my battery on his truck. i got a jump and went to advance auto parts. had a battery installed and was out t AAA the driver came out but did not have my battery on his truck. i got a jump and went to advance auto parts. had a battery installed and was out the door in 10 minutes.The clerk gave me my old battery with the recommendation the dealer may want to test it themselves. i came to crown 9:00 am sat july 13. i encountered tom burkhart. first question from him, "do you have an appointment?" no...he then said i can't help you until 4:00. i did not have a chance to tell him about my problem i did not require any service.i explained my situation and had a strip from AAA and a receipt for my new battery and would like a refund since my battery was only 2 years old and still under warranty. he said my old battery would have to be tested in my car after 4:00. i assumed a dead battery to be tested was dead in or out of the car. asked why i didn't come in friday when my battery failed. i guess because my battery was dead and i didn't have an appointment then either. tom told me i could buy another battery for $78.00 and have it installed after 4:00. by then i could see he did not want to deal with me. being as rude !!! as he was i left tom my old battery to test all day. i would not deal with him again. he is a detriment to your service department. I had gone to the dealership to test drive a used GMC Envoy. Unfortunately, no one told Jessica Scarboro that the vehicle had been sent to the auction due to "issues". She was very apologetic that she did not know this and would have called me to save me a trip all the way down there from Palm Harbor. However, she did suggest an alternative (Chevy Trailblazer same year similar miles) which was being detailed in the shop. I took this vehicle to my mechanic in Palm Harbor and he gave it an okay. As I was driving an Enterprise rental, Jessica offered to take me to the Enterprise office down the street so I could drop it off. While we were gone, the rest of the prep work (oil change/fluids etc) was performed and I left with my "new" car. Thank you, Jessica, for your excellent customer service and for going out of your way to accommodate me. It was a pleasure dealing with you. More

I came to the Crown Hyundai dealership as my first choice with my parents in search of a car. Though, i must admit they weren't my top choice to come searching for a car(Honda was), my parents were set on fi with my parents in search of a car. Though, i must admit they weren't my top choice to come searching for a car(Honda was), my parents were set on finding something here because they had previously bought a car here about seven years ago and they said they got it for a very good price and had no problems with it ever since. After browsing around the lot for about 30 mins, we were greeted by Sonna Hays, who was very helpful. As her other reviews have stated about her, she isn't the stereotypical "pushy salesperson." She was very attentive and understanding about the specifics we were looking for in a car. Her service was impeccable! Sonna did a very good job to catering to our every need and did whatever she could to make us feel comfortable. Sonna allowed us a lot of time to talk things over among ourselves and was very patient with us. She understood where we stood financially and she did the best she could to get us as close to our goal as possible. The quality of work & customer service is great. A very warming atmosphere. Danny Lai the finance guy, is a very welcoming personality and i am very happy that he helped us. As Asian Americans, he could relate to where we are financially and gave us the most information, clear and cut, about our payments. In no way did we feel threatened or overwhelmed by Sonna & Danny, i would definitely recommend them for any of our relatives or friends who plan on going to Crown Hyundai to purchase a car. This rating should have a perfect score but unfortunately, there was one big complaint that we, as customers had that day. Friendliness, only scores "good" than "great" because of a we were dealing with a financial consultant named Fernando. He was dealing with us before we switched over to Danny. Unlike Danny, he did not make us feel very comfortable.He seemed very impatient. I don't know if that's how he deals with other customers but we felt very overpowered by his presence. He and my father had a disagreement about where they both stood on the payment deals, but that wasn't the problem. It was more of his demeanor and his body language. My father understood what he meant but he felt that he wasn't being treated in a friendly way. As did I and my mother. We do not appreciate that type of treatment. He was very loud and it was somewhat drawing unwanted attention to us. Had it not been for Sonna being there at the moment, we would've walked away and went to another dealership. We were told he is a very nice guy, but unfortunately, our experience with him differed and for that reason i won't hold the Crown staff responsible for one person's actions. I had decided not to ask to see a manager about his attitude but like i said, we were close to just walking out. Not sure if he was having a bad day or if he was sick, but customers should not be treated as if they are lower class. Sonna saved the day and got us over to Danny right away. We were able to get a deal done and drive off the lot in a new car. Overall, i would recommend the Crown Hyundai dealership. Our experience was good but had it not been for how one person treated us, it would've been great. Sonna Hays & Danny Lai did a perfect job to satisfying both parties & we're very happy that we were taken care of by them. We received a good price & we're satisfied we chose Crown Hyundai. More
Bought a new 2011 Santa Fe from Imad and was an excellant sales person. His knowledge of the car along with his honesty made me come back to buy a 2013 Santa Fe.
