Dear Lori, We appreciate you taking the time to post your reviews and we apologize that you feel that your experience with our service department has not been satisfactory. However, as you and I have already discussed, your assertion that we failed to replace your oil is completely inaccurate. In the highly unlikely event that oil was not replaced you would not have been able to drive 6534 miles between visits to us. Moreover, your vehicle would have had engine failure within 10 miles. As we have also discussed, the engine noise was identified as the timing chain, which is a known GM issue as stated in Service Bulletin #12313C “2010-2011 GMC Terrain vehicles with a 2.4L engine”. As such, the repairs had to be completed by our GM dealership in order to have the expenses covered by GM and no charges be made to you. Unfortunately General Motors does not supply a loaner vehicle for this repair since it is out of the normal factory warranty, which was out of our control as a Honda dealership. I feel sincerely that we did everything in our power to assist you in getting your vehicle repaired at no cost to you for the repair, and to facilitate a rental vehicle when we were able.
