He went above and beyond to provide a world class service, solicited freight BIDs on my behalf and took personal interest in coordinating with freight forwarder and shipping company. We left the dealer with his business card and went to Infinity, I was really interested on buying the Infinity EX but the sales person was so pushy and rude at the same time that when my husband mentioned that the car was really small inside he replied then lets just not waste our time, we walked away and went back to see Al, we bought the pre-owned R350 and we could not be any happier, the service was impecable and Al walked us all through the whole process being very kind and helpful. We are very happy customers and from now on we are also Mercedes Benz customers, we will come back when the time is right for my husband's upgrade as well. I recently purchased my 2nd vehicle (2007 S600) from Al Kirschbaum within the past 2 years. There is not a better, more honest, straight forward, salesman in the car business. And I use the "Salesman" term loosely as there is never any pitch or pressure coming from Al nor anyone else I encountered at Crown Eurocars. Al thoroughly answered all of my concerns and needs in a very timely fashion. I was trading in a vehicle towards this purchase and Al even sent a Flat Bed Tow Truck to pick up the vehicle so I did not have to bother with that. I mean who does that??? Well Al and Crown Euro Cars does!! It is truely refreshing to go to a dealership and consistantly get the same experience Before, During, and After the sale. In the past I have had some pretty bad experiences with car buying that I actually dreaded even thinking about looking into getting a new vehicle. From the moment I walked into the dealership to the moment I signed the paperwork Nicole made me feel very comfortable and confident in the decision I made to purchase the vehicle. Nicole was very friendly, thorough, detail oriented, not pushy....everyone in sales should follow her example and "bad" experiences in car buying would no longer exist. My wife decided her to trade her SLK for something larger so we began looking at 2010 or 2011 C300's. The first dealer we visited in the Tampa Bay area had only a few 2010's left and offered to ship one in so we began looking at 2010 or 2011 C300's. The first dealer we visited in the Tampa Bay area had only a few 2010's left and offered to ship one in from outside Tampa. They never indicated that deals were available on a 2011 model and charged my credit card $2000 to bring the car in to Tampa. The next day they called to inform us that the car was not available so I requested a refund - two weeks later I am still waiting!! In the meantime, I went online and requested a quote from Crown on a 2010 or 2011 C300. Nicole responded and we were able to get together on the telephone and set up an appointment for the next day. My wife and I found her to be the exact opposite of the previous dealership, that is, she was helpful, friendly, very knowledgeable (did not need a manager hovering over her shoulder),and above all I believe honest. I have purchased many new and used cars over my lifetime but this was without a doubt the best experience I have ever had with a car dealership, thanks in total to Nicole. More
I went to Crown EuroCars with a friend who was getting service on his Jaguar. He kept telling me about how well he had been treated by Al Kirschbaum who sold him his car. I wanted to test drive a Merced service on his Jaguar. He kept telling me about how well he had been treated by Al Kirschbaum who sold him his car. I wanted to test drive a Mercedes S 550 so he introduced me to Al. Al is a consumate professional. It takes a special person to sell high line merchandise to people who have discretionalry funds to purchase anything they want. Al is that person. I had followed S 550s and S 600s on the internet for about a month after the test drive as I was sold on the car being what I wanted. I made a couple internet inquiries to other dealerships in different parts of the country as there are not a lot of cars to choose from when you are talking Mercedes flag ship S Series. I was surprised and appalled by the treatment I received. I wondered if they had recruited these "salesmen" from K Mart or 7/11. They were rude, had poor communication skills and were downright unpleasant. I finally realized professional salesmanship and service after the sale are the most important things to look for, especially when making such a substantial purchase. Al was a gentleman, never pressuring me, but gently guiding me through the sale and the maze of paperwork associated with an automobile pruchase. I can honestly say this is the first time in 40 years of buying cars I left the dealership with no second thoughts about the car I had purchased. I felt confident I had made the right choice of both the car I purchsed and the saleman I chose. Al Kirschbaum assured he would give me the same execeptional care after the sale as he had during the sales process. He is a man of his word and has already followed up to make sure everything is going well and to provide answers if I have any questions about the car. Al is the man to see if you want a great deal, courteous and professional service and someone who will be around and available to assist you after the sale. I have owned the car for a few weeks now and noticed a rattle from a loose part in the interior. I called Al, and true to his word of service after the sale, he asked me when I wanted to come in to the dealership, rather than passing me off to the service department. When I arrived at the dealership he personally took me to the srevice department and introduced me to the service writer. He then made me feel comfortable in the lounge while my car was repaired. When the car was repaired he accompanied me to the service area to assure the problem was fixed. I have owned a number of high line cars before, but this is the first time I have felt the salesman really valued my busness and was indeed interested in providing service after the sale. Crown Eurocars and Al Kirschbaum have treated me better than any other dealer I have dealt with in the 40 years I have been buying cars. Their showroom and waiting area are second to none. What other dealership do you know of that has gourmet coffee and pastries in their waiting room? Even the rest rooms look like those you would find in a fine home. I truely feel like I am dealing with a friend rather than a salesman when I talk to Al. I think he has spoiled me for any other dealership and I will have to remain his customer for life. Lucky for me he sells Mercedes. The car has exceeded my expectations as has Al's treatment of me. For the first time I feel the quality of the salesman has been on the same level as the quality of the car I have purchased. That is really saying something when you consider I bought a Mercedes S 550, the flagship of the Mercedes line. More
I wanted to take a few moments to make a few follow-up comments on a recent purchase I made at Crown. Several weeks ago I purchased a SLK280 for my wife's birthday. It was a great experience and I walked comments on a recent purchase I made at Crown. Several weeks ago I purchased a SLK280 for my wife's birthday. It was a great experience and I walked away very satisfied with the deal and the service i received. In addition, Crown generously offered to store the car (at no charge) until it was time for it to be delivered to my home about 400 miles away. Al Kirschbaum, (Al) made all the arrangements for shipping, and I didn't have to "lift a finger" other than to give him an address. Well, that quickly became a problem in that coordination of a surprise delivery of a car with me being out of town was proving to be "difficult" at best. I Decided to "change the plan" at the last moment" and travel to Tampa with my wife to pick the car up. Al didn't blink an eye after I effectively 'trashed' his efforts to ship the car to my home. Instead, he arranged for the most wonderful birthday surprise for my wife that I could have asked for, ..... but I didn't ask! He took the initiative that delivered well beyond my expectation. Let me tell you just a little bit about it. I asked my wife to fly to Tampa for a weekend to visit friends and have a relaxing time away for her birthday. I figured I would "swing' by the dealership and surprise her with the car. Good eh? Well Al had a different plan. I called him prior to boarding the flight to tell him of my arrival time and he informed me of what he had planned. He and his co-workers took the time to decorate the car with birthday balloons, ribbons, stuffed animals, roses (2 dozen), lettering, and a huge personalized card. (I wish you could see the pictures they took for us). To say the least my wife was totally surprised, (as was I), and a bit overwhelmed to put it mildly! She loved every moment of the event. (Even the car). And it was a great event. I would tell anyone considering the purchase of a car to consider buying from Crown simply because the people there enjoy delivering customer satisfaction. Their desire to delight beyond expectation is real, and It is obviously the culture at Crown. Al is the best example of the many people we met there that makeup that "Crown Culture". We are very happy, and we are looking forward to when it is time for us to buy our next car. Oh, and even if you don't have a special event like a birthday, you may want to ask for Al, There's no doubt in my mind that it will become a special and enjoyable experience. More
