There are no words to describe how much and to the extent that Bill Martin assisted me, he really pulled me out of a financial and emotional jam...So, here is the story...I recently paid off a 2001 S430-it w that Bill Martin assisted me, he really pulled me out of a financial and emotional jam...So, here is the story...I recently paid off a 2001 S430-it was not accelerating properly,so this week it goes in for repair and I assumed that it would cost a "bit", but when I received the news that repairs would cost more than worth of the car, I was totally freaked out and upset and ill prepared both financially and resouce-wise to obtain a new vehicle. I was in full panic mode. Additionally, I had anticipated driving my "paid in full" car around for a few more years at least with no car payments! But, alas, the "gods of Murphy's law" had another plan for me... So, my car being barely driveable, I returned to Crown to retrieve the key, and stood in the lot wondering what in the world was I going to do next. This is something a husband or your dad is supposed to be dealing with for you, and neither of those dudes are here currently! I had contacted other less than stellar car dealerships after receiving this awful news, and had planned to get the "dead" car towed to these places for appraisal, despite the fact that $ 3600 worth of repairs was still needed! (Good luck using that as a trade in) Long story short, between working my 12 hr hospital shifts, and having neither the finances or down payment and possibly not even credit to obtain a replacement vehicle, it was looking pretty grim. Then, along comes Bill Martin, who was sent to appraise my car as a courtesy so that I could at least have some basis for comparison...I was so stressed I finally just lost it and began crying, and was scared, and without a plan. He first ever so kindly offered coffee...which I greatfully accepted, then I spewed my sob story to him and he offered to try to "see what they could possibly do for me..." of course me being the skeptic due to the reasons stated above, I went to his office...thinking that I was just wasting his time and mine and that I'd better just hike it to drivetime or somewhere...enter Kevin Roberts, another angel from above! He began working on the financial process/lending aspect...In short-the day (and week) began as a nightmare and eventually turned into an absolute celebration of gratitude and blessings, somehow, some way, these gentlemen were able to not only get me financed and into a brand new 2012 C class, I was able to lease it! The best part is, I got to leave my old broken down tank right there in the car lot...without another worry.I walked out of that dealership a happy, happy, greatful customer!! If it weren't for Bill initially reaching out to me, offering his assistance and calming me with his friendly and professional demeanor...I have no idea where or what I would be doing right now, probably would have gone to a shady car sales place and driven off in a 2001 ford fusion since I was so discouraged by my situation...turns out I wasnt givingmy financial success and situation enough credit (no pun intended)...So, I like to call Bill an "angel from above", disguised as a salesperson...and Kevin Roberts, a financial angel from the heavens!! Life is funny sometimes, you never know when you are going to have the pleasure of running into angels on earth (and you dont have to be religious to get my drift)...and you never know when you will being truly cared about as a customer, and taken care of like a human being deserves to be. I know at the end of the day it comes down to numbers and money, but I can vouch for the fact that this experience came with a lot of kindness and sincere intention to help sprinkled in there...ok I have used all of the allotted space and then some. i hope you actually took the time to read this testimonial and consider this on your next journey for a car...whether it is planned or not. I went on the internet and did some investigating and noticed an add for AAA club members - I figured can't hurt to check it out. I put in the specs for the vehicle I was looking and the system connected me with 3 area dealers. To be fair I was very skeptical and don't take kindly to the typical sales pressure game. Within 1 minute of clicking submit, Nicole called me and introduced herself. From the start she was different than any other salesperson I had ever dealt with in 20 years of buying/leasing cars. She gave me all the facts from the outset: Dealer invoice and any extras that the dealer would be making on the backend. She said if I wanted to take her info and go to the original dealer she would be fine with that - imagine that! She said, give me 20 minutes and I will get you the best price possible. And that she did. She came in well under invoice and added a MB promotion saving me an additional 2k! No joke. My wife speculated it was too good to be true but something told me she was shooting straight. Nicole instead suggested I go with a lease term that was 6 months less and save over $100/month. All said and done, I ended up getting the exact same car from the other dealer for $300/month less!! I can only say that Nicole was a consummate professional in every detail. She gave me all of the financial information upfront. She made suggestions based upon getting me the best deal, even when I suggested I wanted a longer term. (The other dealer never pointed out any options to save me money). Nicole is for all intents and purposes the most honest and straightforward salesperson I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with - and would do so again without question. The price we got from Nicole and Crown was hands down the best of any other legitimate offers we received. Throughout the process Nicole was very patient and always willing to answer our multitude of questions. The actual transaction was fast, smooth, and with no surprises. Kevin Roberts, the Finance Manager was also a pleasure to work with. A Finance Manager can make or break a transaction and he was a joy to work with. He showed us the additional options that were available but did not pressure us to buy any of them. I almost did not buy another Mercedes due to a bad experience my husband and I had at another dealership 2 weeks earlier. I truly felt like we were treated with same respect and fairness in which I treat all my clients (I am fair but selective) and that is why I purchased my new GL 450 from Nicole and Crown. Why she gets GREAT we have been doing alot of shopping and she was very knowledgeable and didn't push us. (I Hate That) The dealer ship did not have the car we wanted, but could get it in a day.
