My wife & I recently moved to Sarasota from PA , and were shopping for a newer ML to replace our 2000 ML 430. ( that we had driven for 193,000 + miles ,#GREATCAR ) . We found Jim & the car we were i were shopping for a newer ML to replace our 2000 ML 430. ( that we had driven for 193,000 + miles ,#GREATCAR ) . We found Jim & the car we were interested in on the internet, called and made an appointment for the following AM to test drive the car. By noon we drove home in our new car. Leased a '14 S550 from Anthony Diamond after having a pleasant experience dealing with him a year prior on a '12 S550. Had to turn in previous lease and we worked out a deal where some of my remaining pa pleasant experience dealing with him a year prior on a '12 S550. Had to turn in previous lease and we worked out a deal where some of my remaining payment would go in to the new car lease and they would take of remaining payments. We completed the deal and then Anthony went to retrieve the old car and saw the miles and told me I would be responsible for the excess miles. I told him that they wrote the miles on the buyer's order and they did not make any effort to tell me about the charges when the deal was drawn up. The finance manager said that there was no miles written on any of the paperwork and we went over it and it was written on the buyer's order. Both Anthony and the finance manager denied writing down the miles on the paperwork and promptly made me sign a new buyers order. Now they are insisting that I pay the excess miles. We were there for five hours and and Anthony neglected to see the miles on the old car. I tried to get this matter resolved with Mercedes Benz Financial Services and we did a conference call with Anthony and he told me his sales manager would call me back. Instead I received and email from Anthony stating that I am responsible for the miles and they wouldn't do anything. I did not get a call from the sales manager and set up another conference call with MBFS and the sales manager and he said to speak with the finance manager. MBFS rep left a message with the finance manager and he did not get back to them. We set up another call but the finance manager will not contact MBFS regarding this matter. Two months later, the matter is still unresolved with no cooperation from Crown Eurocars. More
