BROKE DOWN, FROM OUT OF TOWN (and Out Of State Too) I've been working and staying in the Cleveland, TN area for about three months now, and I'm from Liberty, Mississippi. On Friday evening of 05-23-201 I've been working and staying in the Cleveland, TN area for about three months now, and I'm from Liberty, Mississippi. On Friday evening of 05-23-2014, I was traveling through Chattanooga, TN and planning to drive home to Mississippi for the Memorial Day Holiday Weekend. When I got on the West side of Chattanooga at the intersection of Interstate 24 West and Interstate 59 South, my 2009 Dodge Ram 2500HD started losing power. As it started to die, a console message appeared saying "DPF Full". I had no clue what a DPF was in the first place, but I figured If It's Full, Let's Empty It. Boy, was I in for a surprise. A long time friend of mine pulled me to his home in Trenton, GA and loaned me his truck to drive back to Cleveland, TN for the night. On Saturday morning, I made a few phone calls and was told to call and check out Crown Dodge in Cleveland -- that they were open on Saturday. I called the dealership and spoke with Jeff Milsaps - one of the Service Advisors. Jeff was very helpful and encouraging to me. He also provided me with the Name & Phone Number of a reputable towing service to bring my truck to them. Jeff also informed me that their Diesel Mechanic just so happened to be there (Jamie Carnley). Both the tow truck and I arrived at the Crown dealership service department at approximately 11:15AM, and they were scheduled to close at 12 Noon. Jeff helped me to get a Rental Car from Hertz so I wouldn't be stuck, and Jamie Carnley immediately began checking out my truck, along with the assistance of Jason Sharp too. These Men Went "ABOVE & BEYOND" To Help Me, and stayed open while helping me till after 2:00PM. --- I don't know how anyone else views that, but to me THAT'S A GREAT SERVICE GROUP. I told Jamie Carnley as he was still trying to get some of the bugs figured out To Go Home and Enjoy The Holiday Weekend. They all looked at me kind of funny as I told them "Guys, I'm Not Totally Stranded -- they had helped me to get a rental car and I had a place to stay locally, and there was no sense in them missing out on the time with their family". Upon their return to work on Tuesday (05-27-2014), I received a phone call from Jeff Milsaps telling me that they had found that the Diesel Particular Filter would have to be replaced. These men jumped through hoops again to help me. They ordered the parts out of Atlanta, GA and got them in, and installed. Afterwards, Jamie Carnley "did his magic" and got it to working properly, and My Truck Sounds Great. I picked up my truck this evening (05-29-2014), and they even helped me to get the rental car returned, and all of the paperwork processed. This Service Department Group is regarded as "The A Team" in my book, and I would highly recommend them. I bought my new Dodge truck from Crown in May of 2013 from John Cain, who is an excellent sales person. On the third visit to Crown for the recall issue, I was introduced to the most amazing people in the auto business. I'm a retired police chief from Ohio and have bought many vehicles from various dealerships, including all four major dealers here in Cleveland. Having to deal with a very serious issue concerning my vehicle was the most stressful problem I have had regarding autos. Within 48 hours of notifying Crown of the problem, the following Crown personnel are responsible for taking care of the problem once and for all and assuring that I will always be a Crown customer: T.C. Staton, Lee Lloid, Eric Langley, Steve McConnell, John Cain and last but not least, the president and chief operating officer, Mr. J. Myers. These folks know how to run an auto dealership and how to treat their customers in a professional way. I personally recommend the Crown family dealerships to anyone interested in buying a vehicle.
