Disappointed withe the reliability of Acura vehicles. Taking the engine oil consumption test and the mileage was copied incorrectly, the form states: starting mileage is 70,781, and the actual mileage is Taking the engine oil consumption test and the mileage was copied incorrectly, the form states: starting mileage is 70,781, and the actual mileage is 75,182. Had my oil changed in August and the mileage was 72,628, have the record. In addition, the one quart of oil was added and was 0W-20 viscosity and the MDX manual states 5W-20. Lastly, I stated that I burn between one half to one quart of oil every 4,000 miles and John stated that was normal. However, I shouldn't burn any oil between oil changes on a Honda made product. There is a problem that I'm burning any oil and I observe that Acura is "not" standing up to their responsibility and fixing this problem. I'm also observing that service writers may be programmed to state that this is normal. It's not, and that's why I'll never purchase another Acura vehicle. They're substandard quality and far exceed the repairs of other moderately reliable vehicles. John is a very personable and professional individual that I had the pleasure to work with, but understand that his hands are tied because of the apparent negative direction that Acura is probably issuing to its dealerships. These are my observations. There should be a recall and Acura won't acknowledge that fact. I don't blame John for the misrepresentations. I want to be clear that this not a negative rating against John, but I'm disappointed in the quality of the Acura product. They are substandard quality. More
Great attitude and service, lots of space to work!!!! I had the pleasure of working with John Shaw recently Crown Acura. This was my first time at this dealership. I wanted an oil change and there were I had the pleasure of working with John Shaw recently Crown Acura. This was my first time at this dealership. I wanted an oil change and there were a few medium to small issues I needed to correct with my Acura. I am big on customer service. From the time I pulled up I was treated with a smile and walked to John. He was very knowledgeable and recommended only the services I needed at the time. A big thing for me I work remote for my job so I like to work at the dealership while I wait on my car. The dealership has lots of space to do just that!! When I asked John if there was a good place to take a call he took me to an empty office and I was able to work take calls. It was great!! Additional there was an issue with a tire that another place had completed. Instead of just telling me the issue he took me into the garage and showed me on my car. I have been to other Acura dealerships in the area multiple times. They are rude and have very little space to wait on your car or even work. I will definitely be back at this place. More

Honest and caring customer service I was treated very nice during my service visit, which isnt always the case at other dealerships.
