Prior to returning to Cape Cod I had to get an A16 service on my 2008 Acura MDX. Crown Acura was the closest dealership to Charlottesville, where my daughter resides. I was greated by Chris Lutton, service on my 2008 Acura MDX. Crown Acura was the closest dealership to Charlottesville, where my daughter resides. I was greated by Chris Lutton, who was receptive, professional, energetic and pleased to be able to take care of my needs. He made sure my wife and I were comfortable, asked if there was anything we needed, and promised the vehicle on schedule. Of particular note, upon completion of the service, I mentioned my running boards were "pitting" and ask him to come outside and see them. Chris gave me a logical explanation as to why this occurred, and, since they were under warranty, offered to replace them. Unfortunately, they had to be ordered, and we had to return to Cape Cod the following day. Living where we do, I had to deal with a dealership in Seekonk, when I bought the car, and it has been one unpleasant experience after another. I no longer service my car there. I wish Chris all the best, and can assure you that when I am once again in your area, Crown Acura will be my choice to take care of my needs. More
Henry Campbell was wonderful to work with! He took the time to show me 2 different vehicles at the dealership. Once I decided on the vehicle I was likely to buy, he made arrangements for me to be able to time to show me 2 different vehicles at the dealership. After going to countless car dealerships and several used car dealerships I came upon Crown Acura. What struck me first was the courteous, non pushy sales people. It turns out that they had the exact car I was looking for, a black/tan 2002 Acura 3.2 TL with under 100k on it. I was helped by Ken and Mike who were more than happy to have me look around the car. I’m big on the details so I spent quite some time going over the car. I then asked if I could drive the car for a day to see if I like it and also to have my mechanic take a look at the car. My mechanic said there were some very minor problems with the car but on the whole the car was in excellent condition for the year its age. I took the car back and asked them to have it washed and detailed for me so I could see it without any rain spots on it, which it had a lot of because of the sprinklers and rain we had been getting lately, and I would come back the next day and see it. I came back the next day and the negotiations began. At the end of the negotiations I was not satisfied with the price and proceeded to leave. As I was leaving Ken came out with an offer we could both agree on. The entire sales staff is top notch and very knowledgeable. Theo, the GM (I think), even got involved and that made the experience even better since she is such people person. I got a great car for a fair price, what more could you ask for. No pushy sales people, an extremely clean facility and a friendly staff. I would recommend Crown Acura to anyone. I, for one, am glad that I bought my car from Crown rather than another dealership or even worse some private seller or used car dealership who was dishonest (because I had been to some of those places before going to Crown). Next time you are in the market for a car, Crown should be the first place you go. You’ll be saving yourself a lot of time and legwork if you do. On a final note, the car I purchased was purchased by a lady in 2002 from Crown Acura and 75,000 miles later she came back to Crown Acura to trade it in for a newer model. I think that that in itself speaks volumes about who Crown Acura is and the way they do business. I’ve only had the car a day so I can not attest to the character and quality of their maintenance staff but I have a feeling I will be just as satisfied with having my car serviced at Crown as I was buying my car from Crown. Other staff were friendly and inquired after my well-being in a non-intrusive manner. More
