I have a 2018 Jeep renegade. I have had a repeated issue with a part, in the 3 years that I have owned the vehicle, this is the 3rd replacement. It causes the vehicle to flash all warning lights on the dash with a part, in the 3 years that I have owned the vehicle, this is the 3rd replacement. It causes the vehicle to flash all warning lights on the dash, the locks and windows to stop working, and the steering to lock. It also keeps the vehicle push button to lock and it wont turn off, you have to disconnect the battery to turn it off. Last year when this part when out I worked with Tyler and the experience was amazing. This time, I was assigned to Kelsi and it has not been a pleasant experience. She has cut me off when I try to speak and explain the situation. She corrected me about the type of part that was faulty (sorry I don't work in the auto industry). The jeep actually went out of service on Saturday after the service department closed and I was told when I called, not to have the vehicle brought there until I spoke with someone about the issue on Monday. So when I called this morning to set up the service, she informed me it would be Tuesday afternoon at the earliest before they could look at it, depending on when it was brought in. I told her it was being towed, she said she would call when it arrived. I waited almost 2 hours after my vehicle was picked up and called to make sure it had arrived. She "explained" she had it and it was a busy morning. I explained again that any service that is done through the extended warranty, had to be pre approved..and she kept asking if maintenance had to be approved. This is not maintenance by any means. I told her I left the information for the warranty and the prior 2 repairs for this part on the front seat of the vehicle. I am still not sure she understood. I did not hear anything else today, until 6 minutes before closing time. Kelsi text me to tell me she would be out the next day and would be back on Wednesday. I asked if there was a loaner vehicle available, since I haven't had a car in over 2 days and this was my only transportation. She advised that once they determine the issue I could get a rental through my extended warranty, if it qualifies, but that they were busy and did not have a loaner available, oh and I would have to pay for the rental until they are able to figure out what is happening with the vehicle. So far not a happy owner!! More
