A first class experience. I found my car on the internet and worked with Austin and Todd to complete the deal which was very fairly priced. After you shop here, you'll realize how bad the others are. I saw a car on their very up to date website and decided to go look. I had other cars I wanted to look at that day and made Cross my la others are. I saw a car on their very up to date website and decided to go look. I had other cars I wanted to look at that day and made Cross my last stop (they had the car that interested me most). First, I pull up on the lot and drive around a couple times to view their inventory. No salesman came to follow my truck in an effort to "sell me". I was able to get out and look around as long as I wanted, uninterrupted. I saw the car and was able to get in (the driver door was unlocked) and picture owning it. Again, no salesman at all the whole time. It gave me assessment time and the ability to concentrate without being "sold" by a fast taking salesman. When I decided the car was something I could own, I had to pull up to the front door and go INSIDE THE BUILDING and ask for help. This is HUGE to me as every single other dealership I have ever been to, I was hounded the second I pulled into the lot. I was greeted by a gentleman about my age named Matty Ward. Out of the gate, there was no sales pitch and ZERO PRESSURE. There was no generic talk and I honestly felt like I was dealing with a friend versus someone who was pushing a sale. We went for a test ride and again, no sales pitch. We just had friendly chat. I'll admit, everything felt different at this dealership. It was even a little odd at first because I am so used to the same generic sales pitches, the "what's it going to take to get you to drive this car home today?" approach and the pressure 99% of salesman put on you the second you drive up. At any time, I would have walked away or driven away without feeling like I had a ball and chain tied to me. After the test drive, Matty and I sat down and went over the deal that I wanted regarding my trade and so forth. I was informed throughout the entire process and again, not one ounce of pressure. Possibly one of the most positive surprises of all is that this dealership don't do the back and forth negotiating. I was blown away at the deal the presented me out of the gate, first shot. We were about $300 away from the fair deal I had in my head. Needless to say, based on the very high quality car they had, the comfort level of everything about my experience and the GOOD DEAL and extremely fair trade value they gave me, I bought the car. In and out was no more than a couple hours (it's taken me 4 to 6 hours to buy in the past). This is a hassle free dealership in every way. Don't be surprised if you go there to see a first 'everything'. They LISTEN to your wants and needs. They don't try to sell you on anything. Their prices, quality and customer commitment/loyalty/respect sells the cars. This is a one and a million experience and I pray they have something that interests me the next time my wife or myself are car shopping. This experience will always stand out to me in a very positive way. Further, Matt Ward (the salesperson's father) was the finance guy I deal with. He got me the best rate he could and I feel confident didn't mark it up for yield spread on the deal. He was fast, efficient and very courteous. He certainly offered me some great protection plans which I opted out of and did not once pressure me into anything. I felt comfortable saying "no" and didn't feel guilty as many finance guys make you feel (often they pressure more than the salesmen). Overall, this was a 10/10 experience. I would go back in a heartbeat. After mentioning my purchase to some coworkers, two of them have family that bought from this dealership, as well. Guess what? They had the EXACT SAME EXPERIENCE. The proof is in the pudding, folks. If this dealership has a car that interests you, do yourself a favor and go look. You'll drive away with a good experience, a fair deal and it won't take 8 hours of back and forth negotiating and haggling. Great job Matty, Matt (his father) and Sales Manager (I can't remember his name but shook his hand on the way out the door). This review is rather long but if it saves one person the hassle of dealing with all those 'other' experiences car dealers have to offer these days and just one person gets a good deal like me, it's been worth it. I have never been a fan of car dealers. Ever. That is until 5 days ago when I shopped at Cross. When they say family owned and operated, they mean it. And, you'll be treated like family. I was very leary buying a vechile sight unseen. After I decided to pull the trigger and buy the truck, Matty made the purchase painless. All paper work went smoothly, Matty arranged shipping at a reasonable price. The truck arrived within a day and a half and it was everything I expected. After searching for almost a year for exactly what I wanted, I found it and Matty made it happen. For such a large purchase, it was a great experience. More
