WARNING: Do not buy a used car here without taking it to a mechanic to get it evaluated. I bought a used 2017 f150 Lariat 5.0 with 70k on January 13th. I went and looked at it the weekend before and wasn’t a mechanic to get it evaluated. I bought a used 2017 f150 Lariat 5.0 with 70k on January 13th. I went and looked at it the weekend before and wasn’t even able to test drive it because the doors wouldn’t shut. They said they would take it back to ford for the recall. My guess is they ended up never doing that because Rob the salesman said they have the truck back so I went out and got the truck. That’s where problem lies. The next morning surprise the doors don’t shut. Thank god I got in writing on my contract that they would be fixing some things on it no charge. (Binding contract) I had my truck for 3 days before I brought it to the dealership. It proceeded to sit at the dealership for 17 days before they fixed it all. Two of the three problems were fixed in the first two days and then sat for 15 days until they finally gave the go ahead to repair the third problem. During those 15 days they kept making the excuse of getting clearance and the parts. Well the parts were there the day they gave clearance. Which ultimately had to take for me to call an outside source to get the go ahead. Once again I signed a binding contract so it wouldn’t matter if the repair was a million dollars they have to fix it. Well I finally get the truck back February 2nd. So I got to drive it Friday. Then Saturday I start to smell a burning scent coming through the vents. Today Sunday morning I walk outside and there is a huge puddle of something leaking all over my driveway in the front and back of the truck. Which results in me having to once again rush it down the dealership today to hopefully have it repaired which who knows how long it will take probably another 17 days. This is ridiculous and I would avoid this dealership at all cost. They are the worst at trying to get in contact with over service for your vehicle but you better believe if you are buying a vehicle they will pick up the phone immediately. Its unfortunate how these dealerships work. I have many people around me in the dealership business in salesman’s and high ups so I will be reaching out the them to see how I can get this solved. I have only had my truck in my driveway for 6 of the 24 days I have owned it. Long story short watch what you guys buy from these people has I don’t think they fully inspect there vehicles. More
