Customer for life I live in the Germantown area and I have been taking my Altima for oil changes at my local Jiffy Lube. I had a terrible experience a few months ago there and I decided to read reviews online so I could take my car elsewhere. I figured that an actual Nissan dealership was my next move and that I would treat my car for the holiday season. I read a few good reviews about Criswell and I figured I'd give them a try. I didn't know what to expect. The folks at Jiffy Lube have always made me feel like I'm inconveniencing them with my business and my questions. I want to make sure my car will last me as long as possible. I read on a review that I don't need to make an appointment at Criswell so I brought my car in on my day off. Upon arrival, I was immediately greeted with a warm smile. The service attendant Patricia told me that they would change my oil and also look my car over as I expressed that I wanted to make sure I was ok for the winter months. She showed me where the waiting area was located as well as the great coffee machine. (Unavailable at the Lube) I sat comfortably, for what seemed like a short time and she then came to find me to let me know that I had done a great job of taking care of my vehicle. I had a few questions about my tires and she recommended that I look into changing then very soon. I was really pleased with the efficiency and the overall customer service. I will never take my Altima anywhere else and I will more than likely get my new tires there soon. I would definitely recommend this service department to anyone with a Nissan. I also got a free car wash!! They do a great job of training there associates with an emphasis on customer service. I have a few more payments to go on my car and I would consider buying my next vehicle there also. Everyone seemed friendly. More

Speedy service with no appoint,emt I recently had problem with my Pathfinder. I thought the battery was dead or something worse. I was able to get the car to the Germantown dealership. I drove in waved at Crystal (the service person) to come over. I told her I could not turn the car off. She jumped into action and got the whole team involved. They moved cars around to get my in the back to check everything out. It was amazing. I soon found out it was a battery cable that had loosened over time. They fixed and cleaned everything. All free of charge. I had my car back in no time. I was so appreciative of everyone's efforts!!!!!! More

The service consultants were rude and it always took forever! I recently moved to the Germantown are and I was surprised to find out that there was a Nissan dealership close to my home. I had to get a simple oil change and I didn't know what to expect based on my previous dealings with the Rockville Nissan. I went in expecting the worst and boy was I wrong. I had the pleasure of being help by Patricia Guevara. Now I will never go anywhere else. She was friendly and very informative. She answered all of my questions and didn't make me feel dumb for not knowing much about mechanics. I was in and out within 45 min and they even washed my car! I would highly recommend to do all Nissan servicing there. Just make sure that you ask for Patricia! More

It always seems expensive but a lot of the time I feel I get straight advice about what needs to be done. Not today--I went in for a service soon light. I was told it would be a diagnostic of $135 if I declined service. They found about $3,500 of recommended work to do, of dubious necessity, when the diagnosis showed only a "minor fume leak" from the gas cap. Then when I declined the work they charged the $135 plus a 10% environmental shop supplies disposal fee--even though they had only run a diagnostic screen. They also wanted to get an estimate on how much they would give for a trade in allowance. It felt like a xxxx up service price and hard sell on a new car. Never again. More

THE WORST SERVICE EVER Went in for an oil change on 6/13. Patricia was my adviser. After the service was done I looked around to see if there were any issues with my car. Noticed that passenger side rocker panel had a bump on it. I let Patricia know about the issue. Person who was in charge that day took a look at the issue and told me that it's prob due to improper lifting of the vehicle and told me to come back next week. I get a voice mail from Patricia on Wednesday the june 17th. I called her back and let her know that everything was fine and i will be coming in on Saturday (6/20) first thing in the morning to get the rocker panel issue resolved. First thing out of her mouth was they are too busy and not sure if they will be able to resolve the issue and says something like don't you live far away? blah blah blah and try to get some excuse for me to not come to their department. I told her that we confirmed this past saturday that i will be coming in to get this matter resolved. She says ok and will let the manager know that i will be coming in. At this point I was getting pretty upset as to why she hasn't mentioned this to her manager. I'm assuming that she wanted to hide this issue from him and try to not come to the dealership. This is very unprofessional. As of coming into your dealership... consider yourselves lucky. i just took it to my personal bodyshop and within minutes they were able to fix the problem, free of charge. Bad news for you guys, this will be reported in all social media as well as I will be contacting BBB and state attorney to file complaints. If you guys pride in customer service, then act like one and take action immediately. We got our cars serviced at your shop and you guys are the one who caused this accident. Take priorities in them first before servicing others. More

Service Manager Andy Deusa and his team of professional and very exp What amazing experiences I've had at CRISWELL Nissan, located in Germantown, Md! Service Manager Andy Deusa and his team of professional and very experienced Service Advisors and Technicians have kept my 2003 Nissan 350 in immaculate condition. The customer service that I get from Andy and his team is beyond what I could have ever imagined. They take the time to get to know customers through general conversation with the customer. They genuinely listen to the specifics of the customer's concerns so they can better able service the customer. I originally purchased my 350Z in 2003 from DARCAR Nissan in Rockville, Md., and I had the worst experience as a customer that anyone could possibly imagine. DARCAR kept my newly purchased car for almost a month, just to get the imperfections in the rims repaired, and they NEVER offered me a loaner for a day or two. Without a doubt, that would have NEVER happened on Service Manager Andy' Deusa's watch! He is meticulous in striving to please the customer, even if a temporary loaner is absolutely necessary, if your car is down and you need to make arrangements for alternate transportation until your vehicle is ready. Now I don't know if CRISWELL Nissan could approve a loaner for an extended amount of time, but I do know that Andy will do everything humanly possible to get the customer's car back on the road with the necessary repairs made. Might I add that CRISWELL has even serviced my Mitsubishi V6 Galant GTZ. I was like, gee and I thought I had to take car to a Mitsubishi service department, when I was told that CRISWELL was more than happy to service my other car. That there, put the icing on the cake for me to know that CRISWELL Nissan is a one-stop shop. From the front bay area to the Master Technicians, I enjoy the best of customer service in how I am greeted and informed of what repairs need immediate attention, and the repairs that can hold off for a while. Andy is at the helm of the team, and the team is only as good as their leadership. They are a reflection of him and his leadership and guidance in ensuring that ALL customers are kept informed of status of repairs work. In the many years that I have had my car serviced at this location, NEVER have I ever been disappointed. From my observations and experiences, I clearly see that their goal is to please every customer to the best of their ability. I've had to leave my car there for a few hours and was comfortable with doing so. I knew when the shuttle driver came to pick me up from my house in Gaithersburg, MD., to transport me back to CRISWELL, that my car was repaired with the level of care that I expected and then some. From Andy, down to his Service Advisors Crystal, Jose, Kevin and Dave, I personally feel a connection to all of them. They treat me with respects and talk to me in layman's terms since I am not a mechanic. I just gas up and go, so what do I know about the mechanism of a high performance car such as the 350Z??? While in the bay area, I've observed them treating other customers with the same level of attention and care, and more importantly with the utmost respect. They ensure that ALL customer's concerns are heard and they (Andy and crew) direct their attention to the mechanical issues at hand. I have to give the mechanics and Master Technicians their kudos as well, they are the best. I always say that Andy and his crew are my extended family because they genuinely care about the concerns of not just me but ALL of their customers, and the proof is in their craftsmanship in providing the customer with detailed repairs made to their cars. On a more personal note, Andy knows that I perform volunteer work for a homeless men's shelter in Rockville, Md. Andy and his crew has aided me in my quest to help sustain the efforts of the shelter through their donations. I am awe-struck at how customer-friendly they all are and have the same concerns as I for those whose needs are greater than their own. My overall review is genuinely based on the superbly outstanding customer service that they provide me when I bring my car(s) in for service. I could not have lucked up and found a dealership, which to me, has the BEST Service Department. Andy Deusa reigns supreme in my book!!! Honorable mentions: Might I add that I thoroughly enjoy conversing with the employees of the Sales Department as well, I love interacting with people and have enjoyed over the years conversations with Kwame, Sean, Chris Rod, and Marcio. Everybody is so customer-friendly, and take the time to greet you and make you feel comfortable in the Criswell environment. When you come through door, you are greeted with a smile by Jeff. I love getting me a hot Mocha from the waiting area, then sitting and watching the big screen television and interacting with the other customers. I cannot say enough about the warm environment that the employees at CRISWELLl create for the customers that are serviced at this location. Even the cashiers always friendly. This is what keeps customer's coming back again and again. From the front door to the back and everybody in between should be commended for the exemplary professionalism displayed and the exceptional customer service provided! I'm sure reviews of this nature makes the General Manager very, very happy, as he should be knowing his personnel are second to none!
