I purchased my Honda from Criswell and it was a very pleasant experience. I have gotten nothing but the best, and most professional care from Stacy Strates in the service department. I bring in my car pleasant experience. I have gotten nothing but the best, and most professional care from Stacy Strates in the service department. I bring in my car for service and just last week purchased new tires from Criswell. This is only due to the care and honesty I get from Stacy. What a pleasure to deal with her and for this reason, I have highly recommended Criswell to many of my friends. She is the reason that I intend to purchase another Accord in the very near future. Stacy is truly asset to this dealership. More
I always go to Criswell Honda for my oil changes every three months. They usually spot some other preventative maintenance that needs to be done. I always trust their judgement and have it done. After three months. They usually spot some other preventative maintenance that needs to be done. I always trust their judgement and have it done. After all, my car is a 2003 Honda Element and it's much cheaper to pay $200 - $300 in preventative maintenance than to start paying $400 - $500 a month on a new car. I plan on keeping this car until I run it into the ground. Since it's a Honda I bet this will be a long time. The service I receive at Criswell is always top notch and the employees are all very friendly, courteous and helpful. More
I discussed with Mr. Nicolet my concern about squeaky brakes and my wish to have a 27 point done since I last had it done March 2011. The dealer rep asked incisively about the nature of the squeaking. brakes and my wish to have a 27 point done since I last had it done March 2011. The dealer rep asked incisively about the nature of the squeaking. I waited for just 20 minutes while the shop analyzed the situation under the hood. Mr. Nicolet informed me in detail about the nature of the repairs that would need to be made, especially underscoring the importance of doing necessary work on the timing belt. He itemized each cost as to labor and parts. He also gave me a special rate for the timing belt that was stipulated in a flyer that I had received in the mail. About the timing belt, I know nothing about that except that neglect means xxxx on the highway, and that repair or replacement is exceedingly exacting. For this repair I rely on the integrity of the dealer, of course, and I have never been disappointed. I brought the vehicle in just before 8 a.m. and got it back at 12:30. Criswell also puts the vehicle through a car wash, a handy service. More
I bought a Honda Pilot back in 2008, and had gone to the dealer perhaps a couple of time before "just to look". When I met Dominique I knew that I was in great hands!!. Very friendly, honest, professional dealer perhaps a couple of time before "just to look". When I met Dominique I knew that I was in great hands!!. Very friendly, honest, professional and made me feel comfortable by asking all the questions I needed to ask related the car I was buying. Dominique has special tact to people he "let you decide" he let you know your options, advantages, and help you decide; but never "rush" you into things that you might regret later, which is a wonderful thing. Everytime I had come to the dealer for a service done, he welcomes me nicely eventhough he might be very busy, he always has a little time for his customers. If I have a question about a service I still call him and he kindly guide me to the right place and to the right people. Every body that I have met there are very nice and courteous; but Dominique is very special always with a smile on his face! :) More

Had a great purchasing experience here, so had taken in my Civic for an oil change. Very welcoming and was in/out in less than 20 mins! Couldn't ask for more, great team. my Civic for an oil change. Very welcoming and was in/out in less than 20 mins! Couldn't ask for more, great team. More
I went in for an oil change and to have a buzzing sound in my engine checked out. When I called and explained the noise to a technician he told me it was probably something minor and they would take a loo in my engine checked out. When I called and explained the noise to a technician he told me it was probably something minor and they would take a look for me. Well I brought my car in and met Stacy, a service manager, who told me they would take a look at the car and it would be $126 that would go toward the cost of fixing whatever the problem was. Naively I agreed since I was told it was something minor based on the symptoms that were given to them. Later I got a call saying they needed to replace an exhaust pipe and it would be $783 to fix. I was floored how can a minor problem end up costing me $783? so I did some investigating online and discovered the issue with my car had been described in a Honda service bulletin. The solution to the issue was to replace a rubber ring that held the exhaust pipe to the chassis. I felt like they were trying to use the initial $126 fee to leverage me into a costly repair that I didn't need. When I showed Stacy a copy of the bulletin she agreed with me that was the problem but still insisted the whole assembly needed to be replaced because in her words "it's one one big piece" even though the service bulletin clearly stated just the rubber piece needed to be replaced. First of all, $126 is way too much to charge to diagnose a problem. I discovered during me search $50-75 is "normal" What they charge me was robbery. When I asked Stacy why it was so much she told me it was to pay for the technician to drive my car and pay for shop supplies. I asked what shop supplies? At that point she started getting agitated and walked me to the cashier. This is the first time I have ever been charged to look at a car problem and I felt cheated and swindled. What they did to me is obviously from my point of view a bait and switch. My advice to anyone thinking of going to Criswell is to find yourself a reputable dealer or better yet a trustworthy mechanic and stay clear of this place. Update: I also did a check the to cost of a replacement exhaust pipe. Stacy quoted me $630 for the pipe and $150 for the labor. When I checked with other dealerships the Retail Price for the pipe was $420 and it's possible to get it for less. More
