I took my car into Criswell Honda for service that another company had recommended I needed. After seeing all of the good reviews & asking around, I decided to take my Nissan Maxima there to see what another company had recommended I needed. After seeing all of the good reviews & asking around, I decided to take my Nissan Maxima there to see what there recommendations were. They were very truthful, courteous & helpful in making me understand exactly what I needed to have done NOW (since I was on a strict budget) & what could wait to be done later when I saved up a little more money which ended up being CHEAPER & LESS than the other company had recommended. A very nice gentleman, Lester Abel, helped me figure out my options since I was having such a hard time understanding. He definitely is a asset to Criswell! I had the pure pleasure of running into a younger gentleman named Anthony, he was very polite & respectful. Got my car for me & even helped me into it, since I am handicapped. You don't get person-to-person service anymore & Criswell has done an excellent job with training there employee's. I will take my car there for ALL repairs from now on. Thank you & keep up the good work!!! More

I sent the below email to the service Manager of this dealership in January, 2013: Mr. Heskett, I went online to make an appointment for my first oil change for my new Honda Pilot today. I was a little surprised when I was able to make one for noon today. I was pleased when I was called in about an hour to confirm my appointment time. During that call I was assured it should take 30 to maybe 45 minutes to get an oil change. Honestly, this seems a little long but I was not too concerned about it. However, when I got there at 11:55, five minutes before my appointment time, I was told it would take "about an hour, considering the line". This was less than reassuring and I could easily imagine being there for well over an hour. I was, quite understandably, confused by this so I asked what was the point of making an appointment? I was told that it was simply to let you know that I was coming? Is this correct? Is it your policy to take appointments from customers for your own convenience and not the convenience of your customers? I'm in the habit of making appointments so as to limit my wait times. This is actually a big part of why most (non-medical) businesses take appointments. Please help me to understand. Is this your typical practice? Is it Honda? Criswell? I never received a response. So, I posted it here. Within a day or two, I was contacted by a Ms. Folsom. She explained that it is not the case that they take appointments for their own convenience and that, in fact, they had received several similar complaints. Over the course of several emails, she explained that "...there is a meeting scheduled for tomorrow morning to discuss this very issue...", and "... I will be back to you after our meeting here at the dealership tomorrow." I waited three weeks after that last email for her to contact me, and even followed up with yet one more email to Ms. Folsom. I followed up with her again three weeks after that. I have never heard back from them since. So, they promptly responded to my poor review here but, in the end, did nothing but ignore my concerns, and failed to do other than offer lip service. And, didn't even follow up when both promised and prompted. More
I recently brought my vehicle for service. There were a couple of concerns that needed to be addressed. I was very lucky to have been referred to Buddy. He was the most pleasant and informed service consultant to deal with in two years. Tommy Hughes, my original and amazing service consultant of five years, is no longer at the dealership. Buddy politely and patiently inquired the reason for my visit, listened to my concerns and informed me how long a wait I should expect. When my vehicle was ready, he explained how my concerns had been addressed to Honda specifications and to my satisfaction. I highly recommend Buddy as an over-all great service consultant. I will certainly go back to him going forth. He made me feel welcome, he was eager to address my concerns and put my mind at ease. That kind of service is very important in order to build a customer / trusted-dealership, service-consultant relationship. I will be more than happy to refer my friends to Buddy. ------------------------------ I had originally called to schedule my appointment with a female service consultant. When I spoke with her, either she was having a bad day or was in a rush; she was full of attitude and could not wait to get me off the phone. I cancelled the appointment with her. I was disappointed as she had been highly recommended to me. As a long-term, loyal customer, I have a choice as to which dealership to use. The least I can expect is to be treated well. After all, if there are no customers / returning customers who use the dealership, there are no jobs to be had. However, thankfully that incident certainly worked to my advantage. More
My experience was wonderful. I hadnt purchased a new car for over ten years. I always bring my honda to Criswell. Sadly it was time for a new ride. And I am still flying high off my new car purchase. I have always had a consistently good experience at Criswell until recently. I made plans to bring my car in for a recall issue plus, while there anyway, an oil change. I was there about an hour and Criswell until recently. I made plans to bring my car in for a recall issue plus, while there anyway, an oil change. I was there about an hour and a half when my service person, Dewell came to tell me my car was ready MINUS the installation of the recalled part which wasn't in yet. I was stunned and said as much - that was the sole reason for my appointment! His answer was not satisfactory so I paid for the oil change and left feeling absolutely livid. The whole way home I was mentally composing my complaint letter. I got home, and called my husband who said Criswell had just called and would I please call back immediately. I did so and Lester Abel answered. He profusely apologized for my experience and said he would call as soon as the part came in. Not only that, he would arrange for my car to be picked up and returned to me - I would not have to use my precious time to bring it in again and wait. I was floored and so gratified to be treated so wonderfully. We all make mistakes but the important thing is to take responsibility and make it right. Criswell...no, Lester did just that. They are so lucky to have someone like him working there. What was a terrible experience became a great one. One week later, true to form, a guy came to my door, took my key and drove the car to Criswell. By 2pm that afternoon, my car was returned to me with the recalled part installed a car wash thrown in for good measure.
