Criswell Honda came up as one of the dealerships in my area. I was contacted via email by Phil Kmiec asking about the vehicle of interest. Initially, I engaged in email exchanges with him and we talked about prices. After a few non-responses on my behalf, I received an email from Phil calling me by my title and saying that he notices that I worked for the government and specified the government agency. At this point, I felt a bit awkward, that even though I had not supplied my title nor my place of employment, he was able to do background check about me. I disregarded these emails, asked him how he knew where I worked, and got no reply. Again, I got solicitation emails from Phil asking about whether or not I've purchased my car. Then, I received a call from a female agent from their business office on MY WORK NUMBER! I asked her where she obtained the number, and she said it's in their system. At this point, I was really upset, that not only did they run google searches on their customer, collected information on me and stored it in their system without my consent! This not only violates my privacy but it violates the law. They took down information not provided by me, and stored it in their system. I immediately told the lady on the phone that it's inappropriate and requested that she deletes my information from their database. I find it creepy that this company does this. Again, I got an email from Phil, and I expressed my dismay with their actions. I never heard from him again, and not even an apology for what he did. I plan on putting in a full complaint as they have broke the law (Federal privacy act) and violated my privacy by collecting personal information about me and storing it on their database without my consent or knowledge. Please be careful with this dealership. The only thing they should have is the email and phone number I supplied initially. Not where I work or my work number and my title/degree. I realize people can obtain a lot of information on the internet about any one individual, but storing their information in your database is against the law. This is not how you do business. More

He gave excellent and realistic information about the cars and how they were different from the others, and listened to what I had to say. Andy Russo in finance was also incredibly kind and understanding. He gave us a variety of options without pushing for the more expensive options, but gave us the facts and bottom line for each option. He was patient, understanding, and overall great to work with. I also worked with Vince Kerican on what the cost of the car would be, and he was very straight forward and to the point. More
