I had a great experience with Carl Wilhelm at Criswell. I spent a month doing on-line shopping for a 2013 Dodge Durango. Carl was fantastic through the whole process. Other dealers used a mix of emails and phone calls to try to get me to show up at the dealership without really discussing or negotiating the price. Carl kept me informed and we negotiated via email as I narrowwed down my Durango choices. In the end, I had two other dealers quote prices for the exact same Durango on Criswell's lot; both prices were much higher. I also had one competing quote for a different Durango (different exterior color). That competing quote came out $200 under Criswell, but I had a negative personal experience with that dealership, so when I was ready to buy I went to Criswell first. I only met Carl the day we bought the car. I showed up with the competing quotes and asked Carl if he could beat the lowest price, as he had stated in one of his emails. I plainly stated I was at Criswell because Carl had provided better customer service, but I was going to buy a Durango that day based on price. If Carl could beat the other quote, he had a deal, if not I was reluctantly heading to the other dealership. Carl sold me the Durango at my asking price which was $200 lower than the best competing offer. (Note: I'm talking about final out-the-door price with tax, tags, title, dealer processing, etc, all added in.) Carl then sat in the Durango with us and went over all the features of the Durango. He even helped us program our phones into the UConnect Bluetooth system and helped us program some of our favorite Sirius satellite radio stations. My only negative comment was there was a bit of a delay between negotiating the final price and actually filling out the purchasing paperwork with the finance guy. It wasn't excessive, but a bit longer than I thought it should take. If you are looking to do the majority of your shopping via the internet, and you'd like to discuss options and pricing via email or text, I highly recommend contacting Carl Wilhelm. More
My husaband and I purchased a new JEEP Grand Cherokee with Carl. I went in advance while my husband was on vacation to look at the vehicles and was plesently surprised at the customer service. I never once felt pushed or demanded to hold the vehicle. I continued to ask questions from Carl about the vehicle and he responded right away with the answers. My husband and I came back in to purchase and Carl located our perfect car, personally went to get it from another dealer and walked through every inch of the car with us. I highly recommend working with Carl, he made purchasing a vehicle easy, friendly, and enjoyable. More

I worked with Bill Flowers and David Merritt interchangeably. They both were extremely accommodating to myself and my family, even when I had to bring the twins into the store. The team was less about selling 'a car' and more about finding 'the car' my wife and I wanted to buy. Again, a tremendous team and experience. Oh, not to mention, EXTREMELY competitive, if not the best at working to get you the most for your used car. I traded in a 2012 GL450, which had the bumper replaced with a Carfax incident, the TEAM at Criswell gave me $45,000 (which was only 1000 under kbb), were TATE in Frederick offered me only $38,000. I"m sorry, there is a problem somewhere if there is that large of a discrepancy, and it wasn't with Criswell if you know what I mean. Buying the Grand Cherokee was VERY QUICK, I got to the dealership and they had the paper work ready, I walked through the car with David and the finance team was ready to go through everything. I was in and out in 1.5 hours, including going back to parts for cross rails and all season floor mats. So, if you are buying a car, want an amazing deal, but also a wonderful experience with amazing people, I would 100% recommend the folks at Criswell, specifically, Bill and David. More
i wanted to take a minute to rate my dealer, Mike Long did an ABOVE OUTSTANDING job with the sale of my vehicle. On the chrysler customer promter score I rated a 2 about my vehicle satisfation simply beca did an ABOVE OUTSTANDING job with the sale of my vehicle. On the chrysler customer promter score I rated a 2 about my vehicle satisfation simply because when i called chrysler direct, the gave me WRONG information when it came to the UCONNECT SYSTEM. Chrysler corporation itself told me that the" IPHONE 5 WAS INCOMPATIBLE" and an update would soon be sent out to all customers. That information was completely inaccurate which made my rating a "2" because that system really is the only decent feature of the car. In doing so, i may have made my DEALER look bad when in actuality I told him about the issue, he PROMPTLY went to my vehicle and synced my phone to my vehicle and proved that THE CHRYSLER CORPORATION gave me inaccurate informaton. I have loged a complaint with CHRYSLER in hopes that i can change my rating in the "CUSTOMER SATISFATION SECTION" on the "PROMPTER SCORE" Finally, I wanted to express my "COMPLETE SATISFACTION" with Mike Long and I hope the higher ups at Criswell will take the time to follow up and make this right with Chrysler. Mike Long did not deserve to take the hit on this, It was not his fault, It was Chryser Corporation itself. I am a very persistant person and I believe in fairness, I am a supervisor in my proffession and I would break my back to ensure that everybody is treated fairly and gets what they deserve. The last thing I want to happen is somebody to be blamed or reprimanded for something that they did not have anything to do with. If anything, Mike Long should be "COMMENDED" for making the Chysler corporation proud and handling an unsatisfied customer and making them satisfied. My salesperson in Gaithersburg was Rod Heskee. We had a bad experience at the Fiat dealership in Owings Mills the day before, so we drove almost an hour to the Fiat dealership in Gaithersburg. He let us walk out without buying a car. As soon as Rod approached us, we knew this was going to be a better experience. He is extremely nice and went the extra mile to help me get the car I really wanted. He was very patient as I went from car to car to find exactly the right one. He actually drove my car out to me in Baltimore the following day when it was ready. That was wonderful! The manager, Giles Bibic also did whatever he could to help me get my new car. This was actually the second Fiat I purchased from Gaithersburg. Both experiences we wonderful! I would very highly recommend Criswell Fiat of Gaithersburg! More
