Criswell had my exact car with the same interior and exterior color and all of the options that I wanted. I was hesitant at first after dealing with some crappy guys over at the Alexandria and Tysons's stores, and this one is far from my place in Virginia. However, they had MY CAR, so I gave it a shot. I talked to Hyder via email for about a week before I was willing to come into the store. I was pretty rough on him via email- I talk a big game so as not to get ripped off (typical in this business). When I showed up, Hyder had pulled my car up front and had put a hold sign in it with my name on it. I didn't pay for this- he just did it! It made me feel warm and fuzzy inside. The dealing process was fairly long, but it was a busy Saturday. The time went by fast because Hyder and Jamie are super nice and so FUN! They are both genuinely good guys, but that doesn't always mean the deal is going to come through. Jamie and Hyder assured me that they could make it happen- Hyder even went and got it washed and detailed before I made the deal. Optimistic, for sure. When I finally got to finance, the deal was about 10$ above where I had said I wanted to be, but I was putting NOTHING down. I didn't pay a single dime to drive away a new car, so I figured it was still a good deal. My credit also isn't the greatest because student loans happen. I'm happy with the deal and I'm ECSTATIC about my car. Overall, a fun and painless experience! This is how buying a car SHOULD be. If you need a Fiat (you do), come to Criswell and speak to Hyder! Thanks again, guys- you're the best! More

Still Waiting for My Car I don't write reviews but here we go. I bought a 2013 Fiat from here. The car itself is efficient but the Criswell customer service is NOT. My sal I don't write reviews but here we go. I bought a 2013 Fiat from here. The car itself is efficient but the Criswell customer service is NOT. My salesman failed to mention that my car was not equipped with a spare tire and jack kit. I guess I was naive to assume most cars come with this but I had no idea that Fiats do not. I would've greatly appreciated the Fiat reps telling me this beforehand but they were more concerned about getting rid of the car. Had I known, I would've obviously opted for a car that DID come with the basic feature. Fast forward to a year later, I get a flat tire due to a pothole. And to my surprise, there's no jack kit and no spare tire! Instead, my car comes with a rinky-dink tire pump that obviously doesn't work on a popped tire. Strike 1. So then I called roadside assistance and this feature is nice...Fiat provides free roadside assistance and towing. 3 hours later, off my car goes: It's towed to the Fiat Gaithersburg dealership around noon. The rep I was in communication with since 9AM that day said my car could get a new tire installed that same day but that the spare tire kit ($500 btw) would take a few days to arrive so I have to bring it back. At this point, that's fine, I need my car. Around 5PM, I get a call from the same rep asking where my car was....? Hours passed by and he noticed my car never arrived and doesn't know where my car is... Strike 2, get it together Fiat. I call around and get in touch with the service department there, it's after 5PM now. I locate my car when the guy there says my car DID arrive hours earlier but nothing's been done to it. Great, one guy promises me the car will get a new tire that same day (it doesn't take long to do that) and the other guy in service can't even call to inform me that I can't pickup the car that day. Just horrible, horrible customer service. Needless to say that it's been a nightmare dealing with the people that work here. This all happened yesterday. I called today to see what the status on putting 1 tire on my car is...no news. The lady couldn't say that it would be ready by COB so who knows when I'll get my car back. Not a single person has apologized for this mess or been able to make up for the fact that they sold me a car without disclosing all information about it. AND NOW, they cannot honor their word with repair dates. I will filing complaints to any superiors since no one has been able to really right this wrong. Anyways, be weary if you choose to drop thousands of your dollars here. More

He was very helpful and cared about our questions. He was not pushy in making a sale. He showed us several Abarths and we were very happy with his demeanor and the service. He introduced us to Jamie Shupe which was very nice and helpful, they are a great team for the customer. They both took our interests into account and worked out the best deal for us. We decided to buy the vehicle, even though it was around closing time. Steve Krantz was also a great addition to the team, he explained everything to us for better understanding on our options. They all stayed very late to get the job done! A+ quality service from Hyder, Jamie and Steve! You won't be disappointed in the quality of their service! Thank you very much for a job well done! Arrived with a problem, left with a very happy solution My experience started on Thursday, February 26, 2015 with a phone conversation with salesman Foster Gambrell. I called with questions about trading in My experience started on Thursday, February 26, 2015 with a phone conversation with salesman Foster Gambrell. I called with questions about trading in my 1998 Corvette that had a significant amount of negative equity, this was after visiting several dealers the 2 previous nights. Foster explained to me that the only way we could make this happen was if I was to purchase a new car with extensive incentives that would "eat up" the negative equity. This information was somewhat discouraging as i wasn't sure a new car would fit into my tight budget. Foster then without any pressure told me his hours and when he would be available if i wanted to come and see what he could do. I then talked with my wife about the options we had, from there we decided to give it shot the next night, Friday, February 27, 2015 , at the Criswell Chevy to purchase a new Colorado Truck but that didn't work out financially as I expected but wanted to try anyway. Immediately following, we took out very short trip across the lot to see Foster at Criswell Chrysler. I reexplained the situation I was in, he remembered almost instantly from our phone conversation and started doing what he could. Since it was after closing time, we decided it would be best to go home with some info and come back in the morning but not before assuring me he (Foster) will get this done for me tomorrow. We met the next day, test drove the Chrysler 200S and went back into his office where he made our 3-4 hour experience feel like we were just hanging out with a bunch of friends laughing and joking while we waited for finance to finalize all the details with our lender. The details finally came back and Foster did what no other dealer could do and that was to get me in a new car that I had specific specifications to meet within my budget. His word the night before prevailed and made mine and my wife's day. The experience didn't end there though, he went on to show me all the ins and outs of the car as well as getting UConnect registered and downloaded on my iPhone before leaving the lot. This was the best car dealer experience I have ever had and will recommend him to anyone in search of a new car. Honorable mentions would include Mike Long, although he didn't have any part of the sale his knowledge of the 200S was much appreciated. He informed me of several details that weren't included online or on the sticker. This experience has changed my outlook on buying from a dealership. Foster is a key asset to the sales team at Criswell and I highly recommend he be compensated for his true worth. More

Terrible customer service. Amongst other visits. I had dropped my jeep off to replace a headlight that was ordered From a previous visit. Also, my check engine light came on in the meantime. I am on vacation so didn't need my car. But called a week later to see what was up because I had not heard from them. The service writer would not get on the phone because she was off in 15 minutes. And said she had left one message on my phone which was completely untrue. When asked to speak to a manager. They put me on the phone with a porter to try to get the problem to go away. The next day I get no phone call about my car. The following morning I find out they called my home phone and left a message saying it was ready to be picked up, so a family member picked it up. Without knowing that, I called to see what was going on and they sent it home without fixing the headlight. They are an awful service lane. They are shady and lie. Take your car somewhere else. Nancy. You are condesending and rude. When I came in you were condescending calling me honey like I know nothing about cars when I probably know more than a lot of you. Next time you decide you're going to lie about contacting a customer, be aware that most people run their businesses out of their phone and check voicemails. Especially on vacation. Do us all a favor and quit your day job More
