Even weeks after our purchase, Foster made good on his promise to help with an after-occurring service matter on the vehicle. He arranged and coordinated the service call, and the matter was addressed as promised, to our satisfaction. Kudos to Foster, and the service department! More

They refused to take care of a warranty claim as well. There are better dealers to buy from so shop around! Take my advice! More

I WAS MISLED BY HYDER AND FIAT CRISWELL I wrote a previous -very positive - review shortly after buying a FIAT 500X from Hyder (see Nina). This is an update. During the sales process, (Nov I wrote a previous -very positive - review shortly after buying a FIAT 500X from Hyder (see Nina). This is an update. During the sales process, (Nov 5) I paid upfront for car registration, plates. (not a resident of MD)...etc and meticulously inquired about the registration. Hyder assured that the plates would take approximately 2 weeks to be processed and he will call me once they arrived. 3 weeks later I sent an email to Hyder inquiring on plates and registration, NO RESPONSE. 1 month later I get a call from my insurance advising me that they are canceling my policy because my car is still not registered. I then sent a request to Hyder's boss (Sam) pleading for an update on the situation. To my dismay Hyder responds by telling me that he is just a salesman and I must contact accounting (this is the same person who when I was buying assured me that the registration will be done and he himself will call me when the plates arrive). I call the accounting lady who replies that I must do my own registration given that I am not from MD and they sent me the check for the fee that they collected from me. When I call Hyder asking why I was misled into believing that they will process the registration, he replies that he is "just a salesman and this is a question that I should have asked the finance person"!!!!!! WOW, Wow, wow. IF YOU ARE NOT A RESIDENT OF MARYLAND, BEWARE! if you are buying a car from Hyder / Criswell, they will make good promises, once they get your money, you are on your own. Comes any issue, they will tell you they do not deal with that. I will put this review on Yelp as well. More
Worst customer service ever. Here's the # to enterprise. Me, ok -3rd contact: Me, Mr. Service adviser I don't think it's the gas cap, I reset the light and it came back on. Oh and since I'm paying for a loaner car I need my car back by the end of the day. Service adviser, well we might not get to it today. Me, I waited 2 weeks and paid for a car it needs to be done today. I need to talk to your manager. Manager, I'll get it done today Me, ok great -4th contact Service adviser. We did a smoke test and replaced your gas cap(remember this) -5th contact. 2weeks later and 200 miles Me, Mrs service manager my lights back on. Thought you did a smoke test and the issue was the gas cap. Service manager, well it sounds like you have a different issue now Me, sounds like the issue wasn't fixed to begin with. When can you get me in. And this time I need a loaner since you didn't fix my car correctly the 1st time Service adviser, no we don't do that 6th contact Me, drop my truck off Me, it's now 2:30 still no call from service advise. So I call Service adviser, it'll be in the shop soon Me, ok well I'm going to need it back 7th contact Service adviser, it looks like something chewed through your evap wire. Me, um ok. I thought you did a smoke test last time and it was the gas cap. Did you not do the smoke test Service adviser, you told me it was the gas cap and you need the car back,( is he joking,) Me, I told you what I thought it wasn't, you told me you did something and now your saying you didn't do it. How much do you want to fix my truck and when will it be done.(this is on a ,Tuesday) oh and he wanted $400. Me,that's ridiculous I'm coming to pick up my truck. 8th contact Me, mr service manager, I just wanted to share my experience, about work that was not done, and mid dignosed. Oh and the crazy price. Service manager, sorry to here about your experience I'm working on changing this. I think the cost was high cause they have to remove the gas tank. Cashier, $135 please 2 days later I go under my truck find the loose connection, which is easily accessible and solder the wires together. The whole process took a 25 minutes. More

Leon promised me 3 free oil changes . . . when I brought the car in for warrenty service, I was charged $63 for an oil change. When I asked Leon about this, he was too busy. I finally got the surly sales manager to negate the charges, but he was extremely unpleasant and angry. Criswell keptmy new car for over a week to fix electronic issues. I had to wait close to 4 hours to get a loaner. The Jeep is a nice product . . . such a shame to have to deal with a dealorship such as this!! More
