This dealerships service department attempted to steal from me by committing fraud. They stated I needed brake pads when in fact the ones on the vehicle were brand new. I was also further deceived by my warranty coverage after following the advice of an employee. When bringing in my vehicle to see if an issue was covered by my warranty I was charged a mandatory diagnostic fee even though the problem was readily apparent. Rather than be empathetic to my problem McCormick actually scoffed at me on the telephone. He stated he simply couldn't take the word of what customers stated was wrong with their vehicles. When I cam to pick up the vehicle McCormick turned his back on me, glared at me from across the service department, and never spoke a word to me. He knew who I was at that point as my service advisor was with him. Due to my experience with this dealership I warn everyone away from Criswell Chevrolet in Gaithersburg. This is a shame because I enjoy my Tahoe and will now have to drive out of my way to another chevrolet dealer to avoid the fraud and unfair business practices used here. I will be reaching out to numerous government agencies to complain about the criminal violations occurring here. More

Service advisor was great. I was told my truck was out of alignment by approximately 1 inch with only 11000 miles. Ironically I listened to another service advisor tell another customer the same thing and same measurement. I asked to have this checked into the service manager said that it’s just what happens. They gave me a courtesy car wash at the same time bent my fireman‘s license plate up and broke channel window vent by having the window down while washing the truck. I did not report it at the timer service but will call corporate on Monday morning. With this type of service I would not return. The worst part of the service was I made an appointment for 8 AM a week and a half prior and still had to wait three hours. No reason to make an appointment if it’s first come first serve More
My car horn suddenly stopped working and after researching potential issues, i.e., replacing the fuse, I determined that my Equinox needed to be brought into the dealership. I brought my car in after it was scraped in a parking lot. I brought it in and spoke with Andrew. Not only was he clear and explained what needed to be done, but he did an assessment and had me back on t lot. I brought it in and spoke with Andrew.
