The purchase was what you would expect from any dealer. The 4 square of death sheet of paper, the visit from the manager, the normal dance. I was ok with that as I expected this. My problems with the de The 4 square of death sheet of paper, the visit from the manager, the normal dance. I was ok with that as I expected this. My problems with the dealer started after I rode off the lot. I had an issue with a new car that clearly was not put there by me. The sales guy let me hang for days and eventually I got a call from the service guy. I sent in pictures of the issue and I was made to feel like this was somehow my doing. I was told by the service guy that he would get back to me but after a few more days, no one contacted me. When I finally got tired of waiting, I went to GM for a resolution. GM pointed me to Apple Valley Chevrolet. When the selling dealer (Criswell), got wind of this, they called and acted like they were doing me a favor by offering to correct the problem. No thanks. I went to Apple Valley Chevrolet and within 15 minutes they had me taken care of, performed the repair, and treated me as if I purchased the vehicle from them. Thank you Apple Valley, you run a top notch operation and I will be back to you for all of my needs in the future. I was later approached by my salesman asking about the incident. He pointed the finger back at the service guy. Whatever, customer service is the job of everyone there, not just the service guy. I sent an e-mail to the general manager detailing my incident, but never heard back. Fast forward to today when I got an invite to leave feedback about my experience. Well here ya go fellas. Enjoy the feedback. I will never return to the dealership again. More
I had a 9:30 appointment and did not have to wait when I pulled into the dealership. Car was taken immediately and I waited in Criswell's remodeled customer lounge. Was informed after a short wait, that t pulled into the dealership. Car was taken immediately and I waited in Criswell's remodeled customer lounge. Was informed after a short wait, that the car would be ready in half an hour. Within that half hour I was escorted to the Cashier's Office to pay the bill. That's to GM Card rewards, my bill was minimal. Love that program. More
They can sell a Corvette fine, just don't take it there for service or you'll be sorry. You'll have more problems when you leave than when you arrived. Pristine Corvette arrives in morning, several hours for service or you'll be sorry. You'll have more problems when you leave than when you arrived. Pristine Corvette arrives in morning, several hours later it's in the back lot in a 8" mud puddle with mud all over the car. Problems still not fixed. And a nice belt-buckle job on the front fender about 6"x6" with 100's of scratches. This place is the #1 worst place to take your new Corvette. They'll ruin it for you and their attempts to repair make things worse. GM should yank their service dept and weld the doors shut. Those service credential/award plaques are an absolute joke! I'd sooner push this thing over a cliff than take it to Criswell again. More
