With concern for the environment and the rising cost of gas in mind, and the preapproval letter in my hand, I searched for the most fuel efficient non-hybrid vehicle I could find - and my search serendipitously led me to Mr. Noah Greaney. He had the car that I wanted - the Smart fortwo convertible - and he very patiently answered all my questions. He and I took it for a test drive and he explained the "unique" features of the car. Oddly enough, there was no pressure... Once I returned from the test drive I prepared myself for the inevitable "hard sell". I knew I liked the car, HE knew I liked the car, so of course he'd pressure me to buy it, right then and there, right? Nope. I told him that I still needed to get to my price range (which was several thousand dollars from their price point). Noah simply asked me "What do you want to pay" - I told him, and he stepped away for a few minutes. I steeled myself for the adversarial negotiation that was sure to come. He returned and said, "Okay, my manager agreed to that price". WHAT?!? I thought I was buying a car! They made the process enjoyable... When I gave the credit union's auto loan department the information on the vehicle, they said "Wow - you got a GREAT deal!" Yes I did, thanks to Mr. Noah Greaney. The next time I'm in the market to buy a car, I'm calling Noah - and the next time YOU'RE in the market for a car, you should call him, too. More

Peter Eaton & Jim Carter pulled off a miracle! Due a very difficult & messy business split that left my wifes' & my credit in the toilet, we had given up on trying to finance the purchase of a desperate very difficult & messy business split that left my wifes' & my credit in the toilet, we had given up on trying to finance the purchase of a desperately needed work van. We had applied & turned down several times and had resorted to renting a business work van for 8 months at the cost of about $1200 per month. A friend recommended that I talk to Peter & told me that he was sometimes capable of miracles. I contacted him, told him about our situation, and after asking for a bunch of information about us and our business, noticed that our business had been solid over the last several years & that we had an established record of being able to rent a work van at about twice the monthly payment of a financed van. Using that information & after making some other arrangements to our personal finances, Peter and Jim were able to make the deal happen. I picked up our van on Saturday, I am very happy, and Peter earned a client for life. Truly Outstanding! More

Peter Eaton met me and we started talking about my plans. At first, he said that he did not have a convertible that would meet my criteria. However, as the conversation proceeded, he recalled a car that had recently been taken in trade. We went outside to look at it, and Pete responded completely and satisfactorily to all of the questions I raised. We took a test drive of about 20 minutes, and during the ride Pete pointed out both the strengths and limiations of the 1975 Ford Musang we were driving. The car was exceptionally clean and the reports Pete provided showed that it was well maintained and had not been involved in any accidents. After the test drive, the closing time for the dealer was approaching. I returned home and did some comparative shoping for price and found Criswell's to be quite competitive. I returned the next morning at opening and, since it was raining, Pete let me take the car out for a second drive alone to see how it performed on wet roads. He also provided me with a Car Facts sheet and a copy of the work order for the inspection work done at the time the car was taken in by Criswell only a few days before I first saw it. We made the deal at what I believe to be a very fair price. After agreement was reached, I noted two very minor items that I requested be corrected. Pete agreed to take care of them, and he said that the car will be ready for me on the 25th of May. Further, he said that he would drive it to my home as I have no convenient way to pick it up at the dealership. While I was in the dealership, Pete made a deal on a new car that produced much more revenue than I paid for my Mustang. However, he paid no less attention to my needs and concerns that he did for the customers who bought the new car. In summary, to this point, my interactions with Criswell and Peter Eaton have been most pleasurable and the puchase was completed in a most satifactory manner. Zalman A. Shavell Rockville, MD More
