In January Jim convinced my son and myself that the 2012 Chevy Sonic wan a safe and economical vehicle. As my son drove the car, it proved to be a quality car, but on June 25th it proved to be a very safe Chevy Sonic wan a safe and economical vehicle. The car was damaged beyond repair after it flipped over and caught fire. The seat belt and air bags did their work, as my son emerged with only minor injuries. We went back to Jim Sell and bought yet another 2012 Chevy Sonic. We are very pleased and thank Chevrolet for building such a safe vehicle. The Criswell web site is outstanding. I researched the vehicles that I wanted to test drive from the online inventory. The prices and options were clearly marked. From the very beginning Doug and I established a good personal contact and I felt like I was talking to myself. Doug told me take it for a spin and just pretend I'm not in the car, drive it as you would normally drive. You don't hear this too often from a sales person who usually wants to sell you the car. I felt very comfortable with him. I drove for may be 20 min and we talked about different stuff, including unrelated to cars and it felt very natural. The same experience continued in the Office where he extensively explained to me everything I need to know, as I told him that this would be my first such buying experience in the States. To make it shorter, I didn't buy that car for my own considerations (although I initially paid $4K) but I really enjoyed his outstanding personality and I'd recommend to anyone to ask for him. We drove an over an hour to see a car. We called ahead and after he was already home, Larry drove back to work to get it ready for us to drive. Larry grabbed those keys and we were on another test drive in minutes. Larry even had suggestions as to where to drive the car for the best roads. He was extremely knowledgeable about the area and very helpful and easy going. We talked briefly about a deal on that car and met the manager. There was no pressure. We called the next day and said we would buy that car. The dealership met every expectation we had. The deal was fair and the car was certified and in terrific condition. They worked hard to get us the financing we needed and even the signing of all the paperwork went smoothly. Everyone smiles and was very friendly. I didn't feel uncomfortable at all. I would recommend this dealership and I would return here again. They even made it very easy to obtain a registration in our home state. More
