I decided to buy a Chevy Volt, but had difficulty finding a dealer to work with me. The local dealers had only one Volt, if any. I used the Chevy website to search inventory for the car I wanted, and found a dealer to work with me. The local dealers had only one Volt, if any. I also used Consumer Reports to get a suggested price for my car, and to get a coupon for that price from Criswell. Through that, I was contacted by John Hopper, who let me know when my car arrived. John was great to work with. He knew a lot about the Volt and showed me the features. When he didn't know something, he said so, and went to find out. On price, he was straight forward - no games or lies. He got his manager in when we showed them the CR coupon. He did show us an expensive undercoating product, but didn't pressure us to purchase it. After we agreed on a price, John helped me to set up my phone and on star connection, radio stations, etc. He also said I could call him with questions-something I haven't done yet. All in all, a very good experience. I went about 30 miles from my local dealers to work with Criswell. I would recommend them to anyone interested in the Volt. More

He was straight forward and the price was the lowest we’d seen. Chip negotiated fairly with us and completed the deal in 90 minutes. I’d like to say that was the end of the story but unfortunately a warning light came on while we on the lot – an unforeseen problem due to the winter weather. Chip rectified the situation to our satisfaction while Criswell absorbed the car repair cost. In my opinion, he and Criswell did the right thing and we received an even better car in the end. I was looking for a late model Corvette online and found one that looked promising at Criswell Chevrolet. I logged on to dealrater.com to find a good salesperson to work with. I called Peter and discussed the car with him. It had just come in and there were no pictures of it yet so he went out and cleared the recent snow off of it and took pictures and e-mailed them to me that same day. He also produced the build sheet for the car and sent it to me so I could see all the options on it. Great service! I made an appointment to see the car and Peter had it inspected and detailed so it was ready upon my arrival. The Vette was beautiful and I fell in love with it on the spot. Peter and I took it for a vigorous test drive and I bought it and took it home that very day. Peter made sure that several very minor items were taken care of immediately. He also went over the entire car and explained all the features. He made quick work of processing the paperwork and then sent me in to see Steve Krantz regarding financing, warranties, etc. Steve was able to match my bank's rate on the loan and got me excellent terms. He explained everything in detail and there was no pressure to buy. He did a very nice job. I heartily recommend Peter Eaton and Steve Krantz, and this dealership.
