Damaged my vehicle while replacing interior monitor 1.0 star rating 3/25/2016 I took my car to the service department to replace a faulty back up camera monitor and a clock th 1.0 star rating 3/25/2016 I took my car to the service department to replace a faulty back up camera monitor and a clock that didn't keep accurate time. Crestmont replaced it but badly scratched the air bag button and the trim around the monitor. They told me is wasn't bad and they would order the trim piece. I called to make sure they ordered the button too but was told they did not look at the damage. I had to take photos for them to order the airbag button. When they replaced both parts they chewed up my dashboard and marred the new monitor trim. They made another appointment telling me they would replace the dashboard and trim piece. They gave me a loaner car and kept my vehicle for a day and a half. When I returned they told me they took the car to a detailer instead because my parts were not available and they spray painted the trim a flat gray when it is a shiny silver that does not match the interior of my car trim and they tried to smooth the chewed up dashboard which looks horrible. Now they told me they would order the new dashboard and trim and call me the next day and two days have gone by and nothing has been done to get the damage fixed that they have done to my car. All they have done is make it worse. They are not experienced to do this type of repair and they continue to waste my time and not tell the truth. I wish I had never taken my car there or trusted them with my repair. I have filed a complaint with Hyundai Customer Service and I am waiting for the problem to be resolved More
Van of nightmares. I recently purchased a used Hyundai mini van from another dealer. It was sold to me, to my dismay, needing brakes, a new oil pan, valve gasket covers I recently purchased a used Hyundai mini van from another dealer. It was sold to me, to my dismay, needing brakes, a new oil pan, valve gasket covers and a tranny fluid flush and fill. I called around and Crestmont Hyundai was the best price. I took it in and received a call later that day stating that they had more bad news. The oil in the engine was like tar. I would be lucky to get another 10,000 miles out of it. They refused to waste my money by continuing repairs. I was only responsible for the new oil pan. I really appreciate their honesty and saving me 750.00. Then I had to call the dealer I bought it from...then the fun REALLY began. Crestmont even took photos of the nasty pan/oil and gave me the old pan. Everyone was VERY friendly, helpful and honest. I can't say the same for the "other" dealership. I would definitely consider buying a car from them down the road. I will also use them for service on my replacement car. More
