ripoff, dont go here high pressure tactics used on women. staff doesn't listen and makes up numbers, they don't stand behind their products/cars but thy tell you how great high pressure tactics used on women. staff doesn't listen and makes up numbers, they don't stand behind their products/cars but thy tell you how great Volvos are and how they hold their value, but when you try to trade one in with them they give you the low end of blue book for dealer in fair condition at best. they will tell you they will make it right and then another staff member calls and is rude and threatening.. very unprofessional all the way around. No customer support I had a horrible experience with my new 2015 Volvo T5 Premier that I bought from Volvo of Dallas (Plano, Texas) in March. The car was presented to me I had a horrible experience with my new 2015 Volvo T5 Premier that I bought from Volvo of Dallas (Plano, Texas) in March. The car was presented to me as “loaded” - however I found out the next day that the odometer had 5,965 miles on it and the car had no navigation. The salesman was in a rush to close the sale and he did not mention that the car was a demo or service rental. When I asked him during the discussion if the car had a map, he answered “yes”. He also did not offer a test drive as it was late in the evening. The dealership refused to accept responsibility for these misrepresentations. The Volvo CEO did not bother to answer my letter, but his secretary called to say that Volvo's position does not change. All this in spite of the fact that the Premier trim includes navigation, although this car did not have it installed. Finally I was offered a compromise by which Volvo would pay for half of the cost of the navigation unit, the dealership would pay for the labor, and I would have to pay $900! All that for a car with a sticker price of $38,120! Shame on them! Noted that I have been a 45 year customer of Volvo, I bought several new cars from the same dealership before they changed ownership recently, and I bought several used Volvos for my children. I will never recommend to anybody to do business with this dealership, but if they insist on buying a Volvo, scrutinize the salesman and get every detail in writing. More

We live in Flower Mound, so this dealership for Volvo so the closest to us. Upon reaching the dealership (one small sign for "sales") we see and trying look for a parking space (none!). We had to park in one of the new Volvo car spots. We get to this service looking building, which apparently the sales office. We were greeted by the gentleman "Scott", the manager, who was nice and handed us over to "Barry", who seemed nice as well. He got us to the new vehicle parked on a ramp (XC 90 2016), which was wonderful looking. He popped the trunk open and started describing the model name and the cost. Then that was it. 90% of the questions from there on that I asked, were answered as either, not sure of it is the paper (a black and white cheap paper showing 3 model options, laid out in a 8 size font with small dots that would literally take a scale to line up and look for the right reponse). I knew much more about the vehicle than he did! He came on the test drive with us and every 10-20 feet kept showing us the directions on the road including reminding us of speed limit. It seemed like he owned the car, there was just no room for us to freely look around! Coming back to the dealership he asked me twice if I would be able to park it back!!! The dealership was much worse than a Toyota dealership in aesthetics, courtesy, professionalism of people, knowledge, approach and general kindness! The secretary even had no manners!!! I have never in my 15 years experience of buying cars from Toyota to Nissan to Acura to BMW to Porsche have ever seen such kind of unprofessionalism, literal rude service to pathetic knowledge of people selling a 60+k $ car. There is literally no way I would either step back there or recommend even my worst enemy got it there! So sorry to say, but only reason someone might buy a car from there would be either a crazy sale, or an insanely good car and ready to ignore everything else. A couple of small things at the end (believe me I could write a book on this, but running out of my precious time and text space on here); asked him for a brochure; response > "it's on the Internet", we liked the car except a stiff ride, there is an air suspension option right, response > let me see (looking on the computer in his cubicle, not even having the courtesy to offer me to sit down) > "I don't see how it should make a difference in ride here". Then Inask someone right outside the cabin, and this guy is standing 15 feet away leaning on a Volvo sedan and saying its a 1800$ option and makes a difference yes. So I ask him if there is one I could try, Barry steps in, "oh no, we cannot do that at all, can't even dream of doing that at all". I was puzzled and then the other gentleman told me, while walking away, we sold the last car with this "first edition" which had the option this morning to someone. Hence I knew why Barry mentioned so! He didn't even have the courtesy to give me his card, or something in the lines of thank you for coming or we can get you a prize on it etc. it's like we weren't even welcomed there! So I approached Scott the manager about this while leaving, who was dumbfounded and had not much to say even! Worst, odd and humiliating experience ever! I did not have to do but just sit and watch make them one blunder after the other!!! Good luck if you are going there!!! More
Purchase of Tire Generally, the service department is pretty good. But, recently when I had to purchase a tire, I felt like the service rep I was working with was withholding information from me and not knowledgable about all options. It was the first time I felt let down by Volvo of Dallas service department. I hope my next visits are not as disappointing. More

Little did we know, we would soon meet one of the friendliest car sales person we had ever met. This man is amazing! He works for you and will show you everything you want to know about a Volvo. He's cheerful and will make your car buying experience informative and fun. Pedro, the GM of Volvo Dallas, was leaving and had a container of food he was taking for his kids sporting event. Yahya called him over to meet my wife and I. Me, being the awnry trype, asked him what was in the container that smelled so good. He shook my hand, introduced himself and offered me some of his kids teams' food. Would I deal with Yahya again? You bet! Will I be back to Volvo of Dallas? You bet. Would I recommend a Volvo from this dealership to my friends? YOU BET! Thanks Yahya! More

He did an outstanding job walking us through the process and took the time to explain everything in depth and answer all the questions we had. He was very knowledgeable and made the process enjoyable. Matt took care of the financing for us and also did an outstanding job walking us through that process. Simply Amazing WOW!! Volvo of Dallas knows how to make perfect, most excellent customer service!! I purchased an older car from there a year ago, and as you know ol WOW!! Volvo of Dallas knows how to make perfect, most excellent customer service!! I purchased an older car from there a year ago, and as you know older cars just need maintenance. I went to Eric Lamla and he was awesome, in and out with a loaner car. Then it came back that it was a better choice to trade in for a new and BETTER car. Pedro was so helpful and whiling to help me in any way I needed him to. He made it so easy for me and did NOT pressure me like most dealers will. Dustin Klika was my sales guy, and man- talk about top notch service. I was not able to fit going to the dealership in my crazy busy schedule- and he delivered the paper work and car to me!!! We were done in 5 minutes. If you ask me, I will always do all of my business with them from now on!! Thanks again guys! Yall are truly THE BEST!! More
Shopping for a new XC60 R-Design On Saturday, Feb 14th, my wife and I went car shopping to replace her Lexus RX350 that was coming off of lease. She wanted another similar size "luxu On Saturday, Feb 14th, my wife and I went car shopping to replace her Lexus RX350 that was coming off of lease. She wanted another similar size "luxury" SUV and she preferred a deep red if available. We looked at several makes and ended up at Volvo of Dallas. A salesman by the name of Chris Meregini immediately greeted us and we explained what we were looking for. It turned out the Chris was new and was not very knowledgeable of the product line. He could not answer many of our questions, but we did like the XC60 T6 Ocean Design that was on the floor and asked if it came in red. Chris Chiv came in at this point, said that the other Chris was new and that he could help us. He told us that they had a XC60 T6 R-Design Platinum in Passion Red coming in sometime the following week and the wife of one of the managers had one that we could drive on Tuesday if we like. We agreed to meet at 11:30am on Tuesday. On Tuesday the car was ready for us to drive and Chris Meregini accompanied us. Once again he was not able to answer some of our questions and, as we later learned after talking to a knowledgeable sales person at another dealership, there were many features that were not explained that we were not aware of. But, we liked the car and when we returned, I stayed to negotiate a deal on the car that they supposedly had coming in. Chris Chiv took over at that point, once again saying that the other Chris was new and not familiar with their systems yet. I asked to see the spec sheet of the car they had coming in. After working on a couple of different computers, Chri Chiv came back to me to tell me that the car they had "coming in" was sold last Saturday.....THE DAY WE WERE AT THEIR DEALERSHIP ORIGINALLY. . He also told me that he had done a nationwide search and no other XC60 R-Design AWD Platinums were available but they could order one for us. I thanked him and left the dealership. I believe we were intentionally deceived by Chris Chiv. They obviously didn't have an on ordered car coming in but were counting on a car at another dealership and since it was sold the day we were in the dealership originally, he should have known it was no longer available before we came out. I don't blame Chris Meregini for his lack of product knowledge. I blame management for putting him in front of customers without adequate training....that was not fair to him. On the way home, I got a call from Anthony Conrad of Park Place Volvo who was responding to an online inquiry I had made to their dealership. He had a demo we could drive in another color and had identified the exact car we were looking for at another dealer. I stopped by their dealership on the way home and, drove the demo and learned a lot about the car that was not explained at Volvo of Dallas. To make a long story shorter, we made a deal to purchase the car they were securing from another dealer by 5:30pm that same afternoon and our new car will be delivered shortly. Great experience at Park Place Volvo....Terrible experience at Volvo of Dallas. More
