There is no other Volvo dealer in America I would prefer to deal with, from the always exhuberant greeting at the front desk, the sales team is tops, and service (many years) after the sale is top notch. Th to deal with, from the always exhuberant greeting at the front desk, the sales team is tops, and service (many years) after the sale is top notch. There is nobody in the auto service industry like Superman Steve Walker. Whenever I have a question about my old 240, Steve is my "go-to" man here in the U.S.A. More
I took by car in for a 45,000 mile service. It was not ready when I arrived the next morning and had to wait for 1 hour for them to finish. That afternoon, my tried to start my car and the battery seemed ready when I arrived the next morning and had to wait for 1 hour for them to finish. That afternoon, my tried to start my car and the battery seemed nearly dead - a clicking sound was heard. My husband looked at the car and said the battery had not been serviced nor the pads replaced. We had to change the battery out ourselves. Once replaced, the radio did not work because it needed the computer code. I had to go back to have them give me the code because they would not give it to me over the phone. Had they performed the 45,000 mile service as indicated, I would not had to go back 2 extra times and they would have run into the same problem with the radio I encountered. I went to talk with the Manager and they said they would give me credit for an oil change next time. I told them they must be kidding because I was never coming back. I asked for a credit for my time and the new battery and they just said no way - they owed me nothing. I will never go back to them for anything. More
I have issues with my paint job, the car had 670 miles on it and it sold as a new car. I took it in for some curbing on the front bumper they fixed it. I noticed the next time I hand washed it, it had some t it and it sold as a new car. I took it in for some curbing on the front bumper they fixed it. I noticed the next time I hand washed it, it had some touch up paint on the front. I did not put it there, but have not been able to get service department have tried 3 times. The time before the service person quiet no notice to anyone our car sat there all day. I believe the touch up was done at that time, I didn't notice it when we bought the car are after several washes it wasn't there. I would like to have it repaired right it is a new car. I had a Jaguar before the Volvo, there service was excellent. More
Bought a used vehicle here. Olivier also helped me, must have told me 10 times "we are the most prestigious used dealership in texas" please. If you are the best at something, you don't need to tell every have told me 10 times "we are the most prestigious used dealership in texas" please. If you are the best at something, you don't need to tell everyone who walks in the door multiple times. Also, any moron that buys a Volvo, is not prestigious, just stupid... They are driving a "status" car just like another piece of absolute garbage, the Land rover. They are complete pieces of junk, break down monthly, repair costs are ridiculous and their resale value depreciates faster than anything on the road....Oh yeah,. and they are made by FORD, go buy a Taurus with leather you idiots. I walked in with my own financing, and this clown insisted they HAD to run my credit b/c of some utter bs about having to run all customers credit since 9-11 and they had to make sure "you are who you say you are" WHAT??? Anyway, got past all that garbage (this guy is a complete sleeze) and as I am doing paperwork on the vehicle, he takes the 30 day warranty sticker out of the vehicle, tears it up, and switches it with a "NO" warranty sticker, and puts no warranty sticker with my papaerwork-(I didnt notice this until I got home). I was then promised they would send me an owners manual b/c the vehicle I purchased did not have one. Couple weeks later (after being promised a call within a week) I called and Olivier said he might somehow lose his job if he got a manual for me....WHAT??? This place is a dump, Volvos are absolute pieces of crap, and I would not recommend this place to anyone. The ONLY reason I bought a car here was the price, miles, and it is a NISSAN product. I love the vehicle, it was an excellent deal, but the buying experience the Olivier clown was a complete tool, and all the bs was a beating. Be smart, get over yourself and buy a Honda, Nissan, or Toyota, product.... skip this place. More
They failed to fix my car and returned it with new problems. Instead of any refund at all, they offered a "deep discount" on new repairs that were still $1000 higher than any other mechanic to make u problems. Instead of any refund at all, they offered a "deep discount" on new repairs that were still $1000 higher than any other mechanic to make up for the problem. Really awful owner. Charming, but horribly unfair. Just dishonest in my book. How can they look themselves in the mirror? If you want your car returned in worse condition than you brought it in, this place is for you! Warning: don't complain, or your car will be returned badly damaged. And don't ever bring it back for them to look at, they just make it worse. They have records for how many repairs they do. How do you think that happens??? Even the guy who loves them has needed them 10 times in one year for one car. How does that make them great mechanics? If that is how you want to spend all your time and budget, this place is for you! Woo Hoo!! They actually send their mechanics to a school to learn how to jack up repair costs according to a weblink from their website that has now been disconnected! I have informed them that I would share the honest facts and invited them to deny this or provide an explanation. More
I attempted to purchase a car that I saw online. I drove to the dealership to see it in person. It was exactly what I wanted. My finances were already secured, therefore I thought I should be able to nego to the dealership to see it in person. It was exactly what I wanted. My finances were already secured, therefore I thought I should be able to negotiate as a cash buyer. The salesperson insisted that I try to see if they could offer me better financing than I currently had, so he adds "Bad credit is not a problem". Why would he assume I had bad credit? After waiting outside in the heat, I go indoors. When asked for water, we are shown the public water fountain when there are several other customers with cold bottled water waking around. After a longer wait inside we are asked to wait in the waiting area. The original salesperson never returns for us, but another gentleman comes to us that the banks are closed and they will contact on the following Monday for the terms. Monday afternoon arrives and I still haven't hear from the original salesperson. I call him and he tells me they still do not have answer for me yet. I told that was ok, because I would just use my own financing for that car. I then ask if we could talk price negotiations. He refuses and shots down my mention of price negotiation and reluctantly passed me along to his even more unmoving manager. He was more rude than the salesperson. I was basically dismissed and told to go elsewhere without even being able to discuss price. I have never in my life been treated with such lack of respect. That was 2 weeks ago and I see the same auto is still there. If these men would have listen to me, I am positive the car would be in my garage instead of still on their lot at this moment. Oh well, their $24,000 loss. More
This dealership is better than the product. Everyone is very professional, but they are plaqued by what I believe is lack of support from the manufacturer. My new S-40 had far too many new model problems. very professional, but they are plaqued by what I believe is lack of support from the manufacturer. My new S-40 had far too many new model problems. The dealer was terrific in trying to rectify it. But Volvo was not. I'm still waiting for the promised satelite radio--nearly a year after I bought it. Volvo promised it. The sales brochure promoted it. I'm still waiting. PS: Once the prob's were solved, I love the Volvo. More
Being a Latino male myself, I find it very disrespectful to my people when idiots like the one below blame everything on being a Latino. That is just a cop out. I have 1 word for this place.. Managed by Racist snobs I have 1 word for this place.. Managed by Racist snobs<br><br>The sales rep (Frank) that helped me was nice gentlemen and helpful but found out how little he was able to help me out after a test drive of a used Volvo. I test drove a 1996 Volvo 960 which I fell in love with and was ready to buy until the sales manager got involved. Apparently since I had $3000 to put down on a car he felt I should be looking for a new car and not a used car (He obviously knows what is best for me). My wife and I even overheard the sales managerr reprimand this sales rep for wasting time on us by trying to sell us this car since we wanted to finance a small portion of the amount. (We wanted to put a little more than half down on the car). After he reprimanded the sales rep for wasting time on us he came over and told us we shouldnt bother filling out the credit application since nobody would finance that car. (Strange since they told me over the phone they could find financing for this exact car based on my credit). Perhaps I would have saved myself the 30 minute drive if had let them know I was Spanish male?<br><br>Went to Volvo of Dallas in Carrollton and had complete opposite experience.
