Worse ever. Purchased used car, ended up NOT being what I wanted but I needed a car and went with it, then after getting a horrible interest rate, which was my fault for not double checking that, they stuc I wanted but I needed a car and went with it, then after getting a horrible interest rate, which was my fault for not double checking that, they stuck a warranty policy on as well as an on guard policy when what I really wanted was the credit life policy. They would not fix the problem the following day, and I was met with threats of IRS audit to bamk fraud. After calling the Attorney General they told me to cancel the warranty policy and insurance throught the carrier direct which I did. When I called On Guard they told me that the price was refunded and sent back to the bank. I thought the nightmare was finally over. SIX weeks after I have the car I get a shred you down like a shrub voice mail, yes he was dumb enough to leave it on vm, that they were going to repo the car and have me arrested. I called the bank and all the bank needed was a copy of my last 1099, I faxed that to the bank and thought it was over, then Casey calls again and I spoke with him and his deamenor was rude and condesending. He was talking to other people in the background saying, 'Now she is saying....." I am saying what? I had not heard from them in six weeks!!!! Sent the bank the proper paperwork and you would think they would want the drama, turmoil and strife associated with this deal to be over but they didn't. Upon calling Van Tuyl coporate offices in Irving TExas and talking to Mellissa I got it all straightened up and they have quit calling to harrass me and or leave ugly voice mail messages. Kind of funny in the day and age of youtube that someone would leave such a message, the next person may put the vm on youtube, for the world to hear. ALl the GM or FI guy needed to do was call me and leave a detailed voice message saying the bank needed a copy of a document or better yet, send me a letter. Never happened, they had some sales mgr call to beraid me. More
Wife took 2008 S40 to Volvo of Dallas to have tires replaced and they recommended Good Year tires. They installed 4 new Good Year tires and did a total 4 wheel alignment and we were satisfied with the replaced and they recommended Good Year tires. They installed 4 new Good Year tires and did a total 4 wheel alignment and we were satisfied with the results until a year later. Was looking at the tires the other day and noticed hardly any tread left on both sides of the front tires. Took the car to Volvo of Dallas and dropped it off. Called back checking on warranty details and price and we are being told that there is no warranty on those tires and they also do not carry that tire anymore. I have never bought any tires that do not have a warranty especially a Good Year Tire and the total alignment that was done also should warranty the tires. They did not say anything was wrong with the car causing this problem and most likely they have checked this out so they could correct the problem if need be. They want to charge us $381.00 for two new tires. Obviously, they have stopped installing this type of tire because they do not last very long and we believe that they should at least be somewhat responsibe for part of the replacement cost and they are not willing to share the expense. We are going to pick up the car and have the tires replaced elsewhere and we are contacting Good Year about this situation. Very bad experience dealing with Volvo over the phone. We have used this dealership for many years and even when it was located in Plano. (Update), Just got the car back from NTB and they installed two new front tires and front and rear end alignment for around $300.00. They said the back tires were fine while Volvo was saying they needed to be replaced also (we didn't bother getting a price for rear tires from Volvo). I am wondering if Volvo of Dallas did the front end alignment correctly when they installed the entire set in the beginning? Volvo of Dallas has just lost a customer for life! More
Everything is great until you get your car back from service, and you find service done incorrectly, or done with the wrong parts. Every time I have taken my car here for repair I have had to take it ba service, and you find service done incorrectly, or done with the wrong parts. Every time I have taken my car here for repair I have had to take it back in because the wrong part has been used, or the item that needed fixed wasn't, and they replaced something else that didn't need replacing. My car has squeaks, and sticky doors do to service at Volvo of Dallas. I fear for the service that is done on parts that I can't see. Maybe it was done, maybe it wasn't no one knows because Volvo of Dallas has no quality control. More

Everything went wonderful. I had minor issues with my volvo and Donny took it in, had the repairs done within a few days... Looks and runs better than it did before i took it to him. Once again I found myself at the Volvo dealership up in Frisco. Once again I was greeted right away, this time by John L. What a pleasure it was. He not only showed me the used S60 selection but started talking to me about new S60's and the possible advantages I might consider in buying new over used. As I learned the advantages are many, most importantly for me is the maintenance coverage on new Volvo's. It covers practically everything, from oil changes to brake pads and rotors. Pretty much gas and go for 5 years!!! At the end of the day John L., with the help of the Volvo Manager Chris Chiv put me in a new S60!!! John gave me a complete tour of the dealership and introduced me to the service and parts manager. Awesome experience. The final step in making my purchase has always been the most dreaded part of my car buying experience...sitting with the finance guy. Once again I was thoroughly impressed. The Finance Manager Matt answered all of my questions and while I still ended up buying a 100,000 miles warranty I feel like he got me a great deal on it. By the way, my kids (the reason I considered Volvo - safety) played basketball on the indoor court the whole time we were there! Great job guys! Christian More
I bought a used 2008 Nissan Altima from this dealership six (6) weeks ago and it has been taken in for repairs three (3) times since. 1. First, I picked up the car in the afternoon, went to work and that night I got pulled over for a defective headlight. After I showed the purchase paperwork to the officer, he let me go. Volvo of Dallas replaced the headlight with no question. 2. Second, we discovered antifreeze all over the garage floor and, after filling the radiator, took it to the nearest Nissian dealer. They found the radiator fan inop, and after checking with the after market warranty I purchased through Volvo of Dallas, replaced the radiator fan. 3. Third, again antifreeze was discovered on the garage floor and I took the car back to the Nissan dealer. They found a crack in the radiator but this time the after market warranty did not cover the radiator so I had to pay for this out of pocket. I went to Volvo of Dallas to voice my concerns and was politely told that since I did not bring the car back to them and could not prove I had not caused the cracked radiator, there was nothing they could do. Bought a 2011 xc90 with 21k miles on it. It had to be hauled twice to volvo dealer in Oklahoma city (nearest dealer). First time - major oil consumption, second time to replace entire head on motor, exha hauled twice to volvo dealer in Oklahoma city (nearest dealer). First time - major oil consumption, second time to replace entire head on motor, exhaust valves, etc. Also had to come home and jump start due to sensor going out that turns the interior fan on and off (never heard of such), replace sensor on the steering (too much electrical), replace satelite component of radio, replace battery, repair a/c vent. All of this in just 8000 miles of ownership and 3 months. Called volvo of dallas to try to exchange but got several so called proposals that either gave me little for my car or was just a flat out lie that they couldn't back up. General manager (pedro) eventually called and told us that we didn't know what we were talking about and that our car had been only worked on once and that we neglected it and drove it hard. I said that is a lie and was not true. He hung up on me so now we have a vehicle that I just don't trust to go anywhere in. Wish we never would have went there. More

Pedro assigned me a professional by the name of Dustin to work with me, and I was driving away two hours later as a happy Volvo owner. This is a very ethical dealer and there were no hidden fees, nor was there a need for hours of back and forth negotiations; everything was out in the open and laid out, which is a sign of a company that has ethical business practices. I am very satisfied with this dealership and HIGHLY recommend them; if you are frustrated with your car or dealer, go see Pedro, he will treat you like a valued customer! I have read some of the reviews below and believe me, this is a new and improved dealer, give Pedro and his folks a chance! More
