Over the weekend, we visited Crest Honda with the hope of purchasing a vehicle. We walked the entire lot—*not a single employee* greeted us or offered assistance. It wasn’t until *we called the sales office purchasing a vehicle. We walked the entire lot—*not a single employee* greeted us or offered assistance. It wasn’t until *we called the sales office ourselves* (while standing on the lot!) that we were finally connected with someone. Thankfully, Destini was kind and helpful, and she scheduled us with Brady. Brady did his best—he found the vehicles we were interested in, but the cars were far from ready to be sold. One needed a thorough cleaning, maintenance, visible scrapes along the side, and another had cracked window and needed a thorough cleaning, detailing. These were vehicles listed online as ready for sale. Brady explained we could leave a deposit to hold the car until the issues were addressed, which felt reasonable. However, during negotiations, we discovered that Crest Honda forces customers to pay for “included” services like LoJack and paint protection, which are presented as perks but conveniently get tacked onto the final price. That felt misleading. The most frustrating part came when Juan, the Sales Manager, got involved. He told us that another customer was interested and that it was only fair to give them a chance to buy the car—even though we had been there first and were actively trying to work through the process. When we expressed hesitation about moving forward on a car that clearly needed repairs, Juan seemed indifferent. His overall attitude was dismissive and transactional, making it clear the priority was just selling the car—*not* helping us feel confident or comfortable with our purchase. I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel. Crest Honda, and especially Juan, made us feel unimportant and disregarded. There are plenty of dealerships out there that actually value customer service.
