Bad Service from the Service Manager If you plan on getting decent service from Crest's service department, you need to buy the vehicle from them. I bought a used 2012 Escalade with 15k If you plan on getting decent service from Crest's service department, you need to buy the vehicle from them. I bought a used 2012 Escalade with 15k miles left on warranty and the truck needed a lot of work after I drove it for a few weeks. After my 10 visit of having to badger them to fix things under warranty, I still had not gotten my front struts replaced or a whistling sound coming from the engine. I would just get told that the struts have to be dripping onto the floor and it didn't matter that it was 90% leaked out all over the parts near by. They also kept saying they could not find the whistle sound even though I could here it with the radio on. I had to involve GM on the struts and they extended the warranty because Crest refused to do anything to help before the warranty was up. Right after the warranty was up, the whistled turned out to be a $500 oxygen sensor that Goodyear found and replaced. The Struts didn't fail 100% for several month after my warranty was up. I called GM first expecting a fight from Randy and Mary. One shock was 100% failed and the truck was un driveable because of the bounce created by the failure. Crest, after speaking to GM, agreed to replace the one for $100 and refused to fix the other. The Escalade would never drive correct with 1 new and one that was about to go out 100% in a month or 2. Randy agreed that was how close it was but he was absolutely not going to help me. I got back with GM and they said Crest was flat out not going to help, so I pleaded with them to help me on the labor and I would buy the part since I saw that 1 AC Delco Strut was $300 online. Randy/Mary came back and said they would give me a 20% discount on the already quoted $749 (one strut) The total came out to $716 so I can only assume they raised the price then gave 20%. Thanks for that. I do not feel like I was handled correctly but they are very satisfied and the BBB wasn't much help either. Randy or any service advisor never came out to talk to me on all the visits when I came to pick up my truck - Didn't want to explain why they were not going to help me for different items. My last visit to pay from the struts was no different. I gave my service advisor a zero on a hand help, and Randy appeared from no where to confront me on it. He said "Why did you give your service advisor a zero?" I said "I gave that zero to you, I didn't know I had a service advisor other than that" Randy then told me they don't deserve a zero. I explained why they do deserve one and he turned and walked off in a huff without saying good bye. I have never been screwed by such a prominent company like Crest and certainly never been treated like a second class citizen either. I am very disappointed and plan on telling as many people as possible for the way they handled everything. On the good side, I have friends that have paid full price for expensive cars from Crest and they are treated like royalty and given everything possible up and above the norm. I won't be one of those people, because Crest lost a customer for life because of the way they handled someone that bought one of their trucks used and just wanted that same level of service I assumed I would get from them. Randy was extremely unwelcoming and Mary hid from me the entire time and not once got involved even though GM told me to work with her directly. I would write a letter to the Owner but I have already heard that is a dead end as well. I guess Sewell is the only choice going forward... More
Service Center A Major Trust Issue I purchased an Escalade from the Pre-Owned Department of Crest Cadillac of Frisco. The Only good experience since purchase (Feb. 2016) is that the veh I purchased an Escalade from the Pre-Owned Department of Crest Cadillac of Frisco. The Only good experience since purchase (Feb. 2016) is that the vehicle is awesome. The sales experience was horrible with items that should have been brought to my attention, were never mentioned resulting in multiple trips to right their wrongs. Without an ultimatum this place does nothing to help. First trip back to replace a faulty leaking tire resulted in a change of tires-nice. Then they smashed the rear of my vehicle parked it in a manner as to not give me a vantage point to see, but I happened to open up the rear door and the middle of the rear bumper was destroyed from vehicle collision. I had to argue for an entire hour to have them replace it. Of course they would have been happy if I had driven off their property first from their handling of this. Next trip to service they after they did the 6 month service someone manged to steal my GPS disc out of the car that their own assistant manager noted was in the car when I dropped it off. 3 1/2 weeks later they did not even give me a courtesy reply as to what they are going to do. So I called the Police and as of today they will be investigating the $400 (according to Crest) that they said it would be to replace. and would I be willing to pay for half. Can you imagine their audacity. Besides from GM direct the same disc is $150.!!!! Once this is settled I would never use this Dealership ever again and the 1300 people that are in my office will not either if the ask me> Vinny More

On our way the service engine light came on and at our arrival in Dallas called Crest for service. At 9am. 4/7, I took our car to Crest and received the best service experience, coordinated by Paul Zugelder. Not only was the engine problem corrected, but an oil filter leak was found and corrected. I have tried to give this positive customer feedback directly to Cadillac, but my survey will not complete. I would rate Crest a 10+ and Paul Zugelder a 20+for our experience. More
Unfortunately - a stereotypical used car shopping experience I was searching for a pre-owned car and found a super clean car that met my criteria. I sat down with a salesman and the game began. The deal sheet I was searching for a pre-owned car and found a super clean car that met my criteria. I sat down with a salesman and the game began. The deal sheet, supposedly generated by a sales manager, listed the price at $1000 over what was advertised on their web site and the salesman argued with me until I had him pull up the listing. In addition, I was offered a $795 option package that included window tint and nitrogen tire fill. WTH - the windows were already tinted and since you can't evacuate all of the air from existing tires without damaging them, the best they could do is top them off with nitrogen. So......., right off the bat I'm getting set up to pay almost $1800 over their list price. I'm not even going to address the low-ball offer for my potential clean trade (it was lower that if I took it to the scrap yard). Next step was to take the sheet back to the sales manager for another look. I don't know about other buyers, but making me wait around just pisses me off. The revised sheet comes back with the sales price corrected and a revised price of $298 for the option package "since there is already nitrogen in the tries anyway". Trust is lost at this point and I decide to walk even though I really wanted the car the the asking price was reasonable. The salesman then tries to lay on a guilt trip, stating that he has a lot of time invested in this deal and he rushed the car thru detail just for me. IMHO, the option package is a scam to extract an additional $800 bucks out of uninformed customers for a couple of bucks of nitrogen that adds no value and tint that the car had anyway. If you are a potential Crest shopper, make sure you do your homework and look over the offer sheet very carefully before finalizing a purchase. More
