Kimmie, our Service Department replaced your Engine under Warranty and KIA Goodwilled $5,000 on your Turbo Charger so you could get your 2011 KIA Optima with over 195,000 miles fixed. Our technicians are KIA Certified Mechanics and are trained to work on KIA's, also, KIA requires Continuing Education Courses to be taken monthly. I apologize for any services you felt were not completed to your satisfaction and that you wouldn't use our Dealership, but remember there are other Crain KIA Dealerships that will service your vehicle. Well, Mrs. lesia have you checked in on everything that was paid and everything that worked before that doesn’t now and new wiring harnesss that I was told needed and guess what . They didn’t fix nothing only have more lights not working. Yes Kia I did get motor and turbo but guess what I paid for everything else and still have the same issues . And we aren’t talking a small chunk either. I mean I’m sorrY but you shouldn’t defend that mechanic at all cause he didn’t hook up fuel lines and sent the car out . Things that I had no issue with he broke . Your paper work isn’t correct r exspecially the parts that are saying customer postponed because customer gave Kia of Conway the funds upfront to pay for everything after the recalls and replace and was willing to add more money on as needed until everytime I picked car up something new was not working. And everything wiring he replaced supposed to have fixed everything that was needed done . So I wouldn’t defend your tech/not sure where he learned but ya don’t return a car with fuel line unattached . Breaks grinding when you were supposed to replace everything and next time you send it out with bolt missing and bolts broke off in the air compressor that you put on during all recall replacent and radio you needed wiring harness for it to and still doesn’t work but I paid for the tech and he didn’t check to make sure bolts were in or tightened no clamps on fuel line so it blew off while driving . I paid the money and if all work had been done correct or by a tech as you say then I wouldn’t after 8 mon. Spent 25 thousand plus for a car that is doing the same thing and so obviously money wasted on parts that tech said needed and still didn’t fix only causes more issues like. Broke more lights and still money wasted for me but he got paid for nothing . He even left out screws inside the car my seat cover isn’t even down from he’s wiring work. I appreciate the recalled parts but tec he installed everything wrong or else it wouldn’t be an issue of m car still messed up and I paid for everything that wasn’t recalled and nothing works so . I’m sorrY if I really don’t wanna be out money again to Kia in Conway or pay for something over anywhere else . Thank you for not doing your job and getting paid to do more damage at my expense. Plus toll bills for everytime I couldn’t drive it back to shop and plane tickets to having to fly instead of drive twice and not having a car to drive for 8 months so rental . Everytime the car came out of the shop had to take back immediately. For things that weren’t tightened or put on right when recall replacement were made and of course then I paid for things that never got fixed. This car was a joke for tech/ he didn’t care to redo work he’s already been paid but didn’t do right. So you defending tech is crazy cause he doesn’t even need to put gas in one if he can’t check to make sure fuel line was hooked up . Everything he okayed to be good well it’s not . He lied . So I really don’t need your intel cause on fuel line I had to drive off ramp because other mechanics was afraid it would catch fire when started back up to get off trailer as they saw the line not attached and I had drove not realizing gas were spraying all over the the motor until a friend told me it couldn’t even be started it had to be tolled back . And mytech was out in school I believe so someone had to assist and didn’t think it was safe to be started to back off so don’t discredit others saying they checked his work or helped cause you can’t have checked or helped if it wasn’t bolted right or clamps not installed or other issues that never got resolved as paid . Don’t discredit other employees because tech didn’t do his job.

Mr. Michael Myers we contacted you after the update was completed but you didn't answer so we contacted the owner of the vehicle to explain the Anti-Theft update was performed as requested. This update would not have affected your driveability issues you are experiencing. Your check engine light was on when you came to your Service Appointment today and requested a diagnostic inspection to be performed. We performed a diagnostic inspection and found the intake manifold runner position performance was the issue. We checked for voltage and found 5V present with the motor response to be delayed. We recommended replacing the intake manifold runner motor and gave you a quote for the job to be completed, but the repairs were denied. The drivability issues you are experiencing is not from the Anti-Theft update but from the Intake Manifold Runner Motor. We advised the customer this issue would get worse, i.e., loss of power, hesitation and sluggish. Mr. Myers we are asking you to send an updated review since we completed the recall and diagnostic inspection which is everything you requested to be performed and you were not charged the diagnostic fee.
