I apologize for the miscommunication regarding your service contract. Your service contract information is available to our service advisors but not to our service receptionist so that is why she could not check the status of your contract. As far as washing your vehicle is concerned, we did have the car washing system serviced and adjusted so perhaps the lot porter felt it would be safe to wash your vehicle. We do a complimentary inspection and brake pads are part of that inspection. It is possible that your pads were in the 'yellow" category which means they don't need changed but may need changed at your next service interval. I am sure that the service advisor would have brought the condition of the pads to your attention perhaps giving you the impression they needed changed immediately. The takeaway from this is that the service department did not try to sell you something you didn't need. We do appreciate and thank you for your business.
