Bought a Santa Cruz in April; very cool vehicle, but the main reason I bought it was because of the salesman, Thomas Pavlicek. I was with my sister who bought a 2020 Kona from these guys in February of this year. They made this process so easy on her despite the horrible credit she had(which they have helped her build) and it was guys in February of this year. We have since re located and I will be in soon to purchase another. We could not have asked for a more helpful team from the front to the end of the deal. They talked us into a warranty that we originally thought was a waste....Until her car had a problem in May of this year that could have cost her half of her right arm, but instead was a free fix. Not to mention, when Hyundai Roadside Assistance was there quick to pick my sister up off the side of the road in Fayetteville because a curb flattened her tire. Her own insurance would not have even done that. Thanks Crain of Bentonville for getting us exactly what we needed and continuing to be there for her and myself! More

I usually don't complain or make a big deal about things. I also never leave bad reviews. But this time I am. This is a long rant...but its been 4 months of this nonsense. I have bought 4 cars from Crain I also never leave bad reviews. But this time I am. This is a long rant...but its been 4 months of this nonsense. I have bought 4 cars from Crain Hyundai in Bentonville in the last 5 years. My mom has bought 4 in the last 5 years as well.... plus more in the years prior. We usually have no issues. We had an issue 2 years ago with the finance guy that was there... but he left, so we decided to go ahead and give them another try. Our salesman was FANTASTIC! Justin in finance was wonderful at first. Got my mom and I great deals! I don't have the best credit, but still got a wonderful deal. The first thing that happened, was my paperwork was done wrong...so I had to go back in a couple weeks later and resign papers. My mom had an issue as well, where she had to go back in. My mom lives in Bentonville, so its easy. I live in Missouri so it takes some planning to make time to get down there. I was told my first payment would be in June...turns out it was due in May. With COVID going on, and work cutting hours...that was a surprise I wasn't ready for. I tried multiple times to get them to fix it... and no one did. My loan was through Hyundai, and the customer service representative said that I just had to have the dealership call them and tell them and they could change it. That never happened. I gave up on that problem. The second most annoying problem.... my sales tax was going to be in my loan. They would write me a check for it. No problem..... until the first check I received was made out to Arkansas DMV.....I live in Missouri. 2 ish weeks later I get the check made out to Missouri DMV. Perfect... until my taxes were less than what the check was made out for. The DMV could only give me change to a certain amount. It already being 2 months since I got my car, I decided to go ahead write a check and get it taken care of....before I got more late fees. I messaged the finance guy, saying this needed to be fixed by the weekend...before the check cleared. He called said they would have a check overnighted to me Monday.... I just had to bring the check in and they would get it to corporate. We went down Saturday to drop it off, I even put the receipt in with the check. Monday came, they said they had the check I dropped off. Tuesday came....nothing. The check I wrote was from one of my bank accounts that I use for just bills. So the money in there, is for bills coming out. Well it cleared that Monday... which then led to 5 overdraft fees and a return check fee from Hyundai for my car payment that didn't go through. I have never had a return check fee and haven't had overdraft fees since I was a teenager. I messaged the finance guy about all of this....and heard nothing. That Wednesday I had to drive to KC to see my dad, who was dying. I asked my mom to please call and check on it... she called me saying they didn't have everything they needed. That it was just the check and no receipt. I then called and spoke to Justin, he said there was nothing but the check in the evenelop. I got irritated and said I don't understand why this is such a big issue. He then was like hang on, hang on, hang on.. I'll call you right back. Well he didn't, he called my mom. Basically telling her what I needed to do and there was nothing with the check. I called him back, he said that I had no reason to be upset. I told him that I'd been driving and seeing my dad who was dying. He then told me he wasn't going to be in contact with me anymore, he would give my info to his GM. Perfect! I also called corporate, told them of the issue. The GM John contacted me very quickly, and explained to me what needed to be done and why. That the receipt that was in the envelope didn't have the info they needed. I sent him a picture of the receipt that he needed. It still took a bit to get the other check... had to keep calling on it. Finally my mom called back while I was at work. They had it. The next issue was the overdraft fees and return check fee. It was only $115 all together, which doesn't seem like much... but with the pandemic going on, that's alot. John first told me, my sales tax check would have covered those fees. Which is absolutely true... but that sales tax check was included in my loan. This wasn't my fault... it was due to the two ish months dealing with everything. I shouldn't have to pay for it. So I sent him the info he wanted. Never let me know he got it, didn't hear from him for a few days with texting or calling. Finally got ahold of him. He said he runs a business so he can't just return calls. I also work and don't have time to deal with all of this. I gave him about another week...heard nothing. Called corporate. He finally text back and said he needed more information. I sent him all the info. Didn't hear anything for a few days. "Text him again, he responded... I'm getting with my regional director on it. The balance u had prior to writing the check wasn't enough to cover the check u wrote." Well that is why I had overdraft fees and a return check fee. I was told a check would be overnighted. It wasn't. I then called him the next day...he basically said the same thing that was in his text message. I then explained, that's why there were overdraft fees. He kept saying the same thing. I once again said this is taking longer than needed. I asked him if we needed to discuss how many cars my mother and I have bought from him. He then said, to not threaten him.... because I didn't know that was a threat. I'm done with that dealership. My mom is done with that dealership. I know we both have recommended them. We will no longer be doing that. We get a new car almost every year to year and a half. The service center guys have always been amazing and know who we are, and the business we have given them. You can tell the appreciate it. The finance and GM.... horrible customer service. I worked in customer service for 7 years... with business customers. Cussed up and down, actually threatened and so much more.... and handled it like an adult. You don't push off customers because they are irriated...ESPECIALLY when the company is in the wrong. More
Worst experience in my life buying a car. First they lied about the price after we negotiated it to 19,000 they ran my credit then said they could not go that low. then after more negotiating First they lied about the price after we negotiated it to 19,000 they ran my credit then said they could not go that low. then after more negotiating we came to the price of 21,000 and change out the door. when i went to sign the deal they would not even honer that price. they said it was almost 23,000. they could not give me the correct intrest rate, the said my trade in was 1,000 when they would only do 1 dollar(YES $1). They lied to me and can not give you a strait answer. i will never go here and hope people see this and will do the same. More
