My motor for my sunroof went off but instead of helping with replacing it, they tried to charge me $4000. I thought they were more of an expert with ford vehicles, but sadly no. The service department is with replacing it, they tried to charge me $4000. I thought they were more of an expert with ford vehicles, but sadly no. The service department is very important in my decision to buy a specific type of car. My vehicle is paid off thank God. I more than likely will not buy another Ford vehicle mainly because I would have to deal with this service department. I tour service departments when I buy a car. At first, they seemed okay but it has gotten way worse. I will say at least they answer the phone now. I am in the process of looking for a mechanic that I can trust instead of taking it to ford since they are not helpful. I will not buy a new car which is what it seems they try to push you toward instead of fixing your vehicle. More

My brake light had been on for a long time so I also asked them to check the braking system. They said that the brake system was working fine but I needed to replace the instrument cluster to fix the brake light. To diagnose a bad instrument cluster they said they “jiggled the connection”. I was not impressed with how they diagnosed the instrument cluster, so I chose not to spend $950.00 for a new instrument cluster since the truck was working fine. When I left the dealership I noticed my cruise control would not come on. I returned to the dealership and they said the cruise control wouldn’t work because the brake light was on an I needed to replace the instrument cluster. It worked fine before the brake job but since I need my cruise control I told them to order a new instrument cluster. I went back 3 days later to get the instrument cluster replaced and while I was waiting they informed me that my brake system was broken and I needed a new assembly, brake switch and plunger for $1100.00. the brakes worked when I drove it in and they had just been inspected It 3 days earlier by the same dealership. I would have preferred for them to fix the brakes before replacing the instrument cluster to see if that fixed the brake light problem. When I spoke with the service manager about this situation, he got huffy and said “he didn’t appreciate me accusing his service technicians of breaking my truck” I wasn’t accusing anyone, I was relaying what actually happened. He said there was no way for them to know about the brake assembly problem before they replaced the instrument cluster even though it didn’t throw up a maintenance code. He said you could depress the brake pedal with one finger and the truck was unsafe to drive. He couldn’t answer. Why this wasn’t found when I had the brake job other then saying it had to happen after that. He then offered me a $49.00 a day “loaner car” since it would take a few days for the parts. I declined the loaner car. When I was gathering my belongings from the truck I pushed the brake pedal and it made a clicking noise that was not there before. Maybe that was from part of the repair. There is also a $300.00 core charge for the instrument cluster so I probably got a refurbished one even though I asked for and assumed I was getting a new one. Who knows. They are keeping my truck for 5 days so far. I asked them to let me know when the brake assembly came in. I didn’t get a call when the part arrived, but I called again that day. The part was in, but they couldn’t fix it that day. I asked for their porter to give me a ride to the dealership the next day when the job was close to being completed. They said their 2 porters don’t work there anymore. The car I’m using belongs to an at risk person for Covid19. I won’t put him at risk by getting a ride with him. This dealership is not very helpful. The next day I got myself to the dealership and when I paid I expected a 10% Military Discount on the charges. They gave me a Military Discount on the $550.00 brake pad job that took $55.00 off. The new charges were $2325.88 for instrument cluster and brake assembly which would be $232.58 with a 10% discount. They said that they only go up to $100.00 off on the 10% Military Discount so they only knocked $100.00 off the bill even though it was two separate jobs and one of them was slightly less than $1000.00. If you are in the Military, and plan a big mechanical job on your vehicle, don’t count on the full Military Discount Ford Motor Company touts. The service representative didn’t mention the ford rewards program to me. While examining the bill and asking for the Military Discount, I forgot to make sure all these charges were added to my rewards account so I probably missed out on that deal too. I still can’t figure out how they certified my braking system when I got brake pads, and three days later they said my brakes were completely shot and it was unsafe to drive the truck after they worked on an instrument cluster. I wish that I could give them half a star. The Sales Manager John lied and said that they were not pulling my wife's credit, that it was a "soft pull". She immediately got a hit on her credit bureau. I Manager John lied and said that they were not pulling my wife's credit, that it was a "soft pull". She immediately got a hit on her credit bureau. I called the gentleman to ask why and he quickly caught an attitude saying that if I am calling him a lier then we would have a problem. Typically car sales lies! I wouldn't recommend this place unless you are using your own bank. More

That tells me that upper management cares, whereas the previous mid level management did not, so they were removed. I believe that going forward the level of service will unquestionably improve and I would not hesitate to purchase a vehicle from them More
